Hello Jeanne!! What a grand dining room your son and DIL have. I really like it and those dishes are very extravagant. The blues in them are so pretty. Those wood pieces on the dining table are very cool...

Hi Jeanne my southern friend. My aunt gave me a Nipon Dish a few years ago. I didn't know anything about it. It's green and white. Looks like a candy dish. Aunty told me it was worth something... Well I prefer to keep it and think of her. : )
Yes it was OUCH. but i was determined to have a piercing at 50... it came out a year later. I did it. Chalk it up right?
I love all your DIL's dishes.
And you
Love Claudie

They do have a gorgeous home Jeanne........and that cobalt blue china is stunning, what a good buy!

Will be in touch after Fri. Jasmin returns to school tomorrow and I hope to have a bit more time to go treasure hunting around town. I did pop over to SuzAnna's Sat. afternoon and today, late afternoon, I stopped by another new shop which has some great antiques! Just wanted to get out and do something on my own - guess I'm somewhat stressed awaiting the test results etc.

Love - Mary.

What a gorgeous set of dishes....good shopping on Brett's part! :) I LOVE THAT ROOM!! OMG...the color of paint and the wainscoting (sp?) and the arched doorway and the windows! What a wonderful spot!!

Hope you've had a great Monday! I spent the day with Beth's sister (you didn't get to meet Beth) and the breakfast group at her (Beth's sister) art show being held downtown. Then we got to visit her art studio down in the West Bottoms (close to the old airport) THEN we ate lunch at The Webster House! Next time you come--I'm taking you there for lunch. You'll flip!
