I know I should be in bed...I'm going promise.
Colt and Riley use to play in a Rubbermaid like that. They would fill it with water in the summer and pretend it was their pool. Cute little boys Jeanne.
I just had a cup of tea, my favourite being liquorice. Yum. Your table is beautiful. I noticed a little pink flower in the middle : )
Happy Blue Monday and what a lovely victorian tea party Miss Jeanne.
Love You to the moon and back again

Your tea things are just lovely. I could very definitely enjoy having tea with you...but would be terrified of breaking something. With replacement costs like that...Wow!

The little guys are adorable. I love the close up of both of them...and of course the little guy asleep in the basket.

Have a great day!

Good morning, dear friend. The boys are gorgeous - and if is right for you to be prejudice.

I love your tea party. I prefer Earl Grey, too, and Oatmeal Raisin cookies are my very favorite. I'll be right over.

Willow

Your teaset is so beautiful and what a wonderful teaparty. Your boys are so cute. I know how you miss them.

Hello Jeanne,

I have to agree - those boys are just darlings! :-) And how cute is it that slept in that teeny weeny box. Must be real exhausted from the playing.

As to the tea party - they are beautiful and very expensive! With a klutz like me, I'm afraid to pick those china LOL Good thing it's a virtual one :-) The painted teaspoons are just lovely as well.

I know I'm late on this one (since I've been MIA) but I wish the two important boys in your life a Happy, Happy Birthday - to your husband and to Caleb (sounds like he is one amazing boy and no doubt everybody is just proud of him).

Mizpah,
Li

(ooopppsss there's more :-) That giant flower! 3 days in every 40 years. The name though (cadaver . . . ous) diverted my mind into something else for a second :-) )

Darlene

Both of the boys are too CUTE!!

Beautiful set up for your tea party. Those cookies look YUMMY and I would be VERY careful using that china. Hope you have a wonderful day today. We might be in for some crazy weather later....hope not.

Sally

My little ones always loved to play in laundry baskets; I guess it's the enclosed, small area that appeals to them. Happy Blue Monday, Jeanne.

Shelia

Oh, Jeanne, what darling little guys! I love their big ole beautiful eyes and little cherub faces! How lucky you are.
Now your tea setting is gorgeous. What a story about your beautiful china! Wow, you've really got some expensive ones! How wonderful you could replace them! I'll have two lumps in my Earl Gray, one of my favorite teas, please!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Yeah, I know, I know...."go out and get your own!" :) I love EG tea, too, but I love oatmeal cookies MORE!! Your flowers are the perfect touch!! Victorian Tea Party

Google books has a large selection of parlor game books and recipe books from Victorian times that are freely viewable as their copyright has expired. Using these as reference it is easy to organize your own Victorian Tea Party. I have hosted a Victorian Tea Party pot look but if you are doing this I would advise not making it too authentic as the Victorians enjoyed such delicacies as beef tongue and pig's trotters!!!
