BLUE MONDAY-WATER FUN

HELLO EVERYONE!  HAPPY BLUE MONDAY.

Sally at, Smiling Sally, is our host for today.  Thank you Sally for loving the color blue.  Sharing our blue has brought many blogging friends together each week. That is a good thing.

Today I have chosen to give you a preview of our camping fun.  It was very hot and this is the way my family kept cool.

We had 18 family members on this vacation and 16 of them jumped off the rock.

'Not me' or my daughter-in-law had the nerve to take the plunge.

NO BATHING SUIT WAS LOST IN THESE JUMPS ON THAT DAY.

More camping fun another day.

I just finished staying with 3 grands while parents were on a business trip. Movies, crafts, giggles, watermelon...all kinds of good things going on with us.:)

It is very obvious, all the family was having a grand old time on this trip. This jumping into water is definitely for the younger folks. I cannot swim or own a bathing suit. I do like to hang my feet in the water.

just bought my MAC.....I'm at the Apple Store right now cuz my old hard drive is here....it seems to be messed up....hope they can transfer my data.....they're gonna try. Anyway, I'm MIA cuz I don't have a computer at home.....I think they want me to leave cuz I've been on their laptop a long time....laptops are FUN....but I bought a desktop model. If I love this MAC I will start saving for a laptop, too! :) Those photos look awesome!!! I didn't see you jumping in!! :) I'll catch up with you when I have a working computer at home!! L, Dana

Looks like fun. What a wonderful way to stay cool-we just left 65-70 degrees on vac in Colo. to 107 degrees here today in Kansas.

We used to camp a lot as teens. I remember jumping off the big rocks in Missouri, Johnson Shut ins State Park. Good times. Your grans look like they will have some great memories too.

What a fun time you all had! I probably would have watched the jumping into the water too! I lost part of my one piece bathing suit at Thunder Bay at Water World a few years ago. That was the end of my wild days! Thunder Bay is a replica of real waves crashing into the surf! Oh goodness, shoulda listened to my kids! I was holding on to my glasses for all I was worth and those waves tore my top half of my suit off! I am so modest I hated to come out of that water! I laugh now but at the time I was hobbling on my bruised and scraped knees that hit the bottom of that pool like a ton of bricks!

It's nice that Christine got in on the fun. Being hot and sticky makes it easy to jump right in.
We had a nice long weekend. Pool party, great food, Brittany's boyfriend was here, Deb and Bill, Colt's friends too. Yesterday we had light showers off and on. Great day to hang around and read a book. I actually changed my curtains again. Meeting Sister Lolotte today with my sister. We are taking her to her friends home in the country near me. She used to be the only school teacher in this little school house and has always stayed friends with the only neighbour. I guess they grow all their own veg's & they have beautiful gardens. I'm anxious to meet them and spend time with Sister. I did go and visit her last week for a few hours. She made a little lunch as we sat under the swing on a beautiful sunny day. I love her : )
Randy is doing much better. It's wonderful. He had one very bad day on Tuesday, but ok since then. I know he's determined to fight this.
Here we are in August already Jeanne. Can you believe it? I'm hoping that CC comes out for a few days in the fall. She's trying to swing it.
