I'M BACK!
Today is a special because we just spent several days with very dear friends. The camera club party was a HUGE success and this photo was taken the night of the party along with many more. Today I am just sharing one photo. The rest of the photos will be posted tomorrow. This photo is special because these frriends have been like family for 50 plus years.
The guys have been best friends since junior high school.

As the days and years go by, I'm hanging on to all the continuity I can---but those fifty-year friends, those take-up-where-you-left-off friends coming for the weekend and standing right there in your kitchen---those are golden treasures.

Wonderful, loyal friends are very rare. I have some that stands beside me when no one else will. I treasure all of them. You four make a happy, fine looking group.

Anyone that knows you loves you, and we are so blessed to have you my dear friend.
I had a FABULOUS weekend. I found my dear friend from 24 years ago. I met her in Montreal on Sat. I was with Britt and my sister. We couldn't let each other go, so I jumped in her car, and we drove away. I had nothing but what was on my back. We had the best time ever. Randy and Colt picked me up yesterday afternoon in Mtl. and met her (Randy had met her 24 years ago) and her new hubby. Of course I didn't have my sleeping pills, so I laid in bed for 8 hours. Got up, no make-up, bed haid, and dark circles under my eyes, (that's when the girls should see me lol) I was fading fast by early afternoon. By the time we got home, took a shower, put my flanny's on and laid on the couch, I was feeling a little better. My brain is still full of beautiful moments, tones of information, hugs, kisses, and all that goes with catching up with a true friend. We will never loose each other again, and to think she's only an hour 1/2 away from me.
What's even more interesting is that one year ago to the day, Sister Lolotte came into my life, and now Manon.
Life is great.

If you get a chance, I have a recipe I want you to copy. You will thank me for it because it is DIVINE. Lisa and I declared it our favorite cake ever! You will want to lick your plate. I think it only fair that I share it with you since you brought that wonderful cheesecake to my house for Claudie's party. I seriously think you will like this and add it to your arsenal of delcious recipes. It's at the very bottom of my MIL's birthday post. I got if from Nancy... remember her? She served it for my birthday this year at a party she threw.

How wonderful to have great friends like that for so many years! You sure are blessed Jeanne! And you bless me! Hope things are wonderful for you! I am working on my Christmas collection for my shop and decided today that I absolutely have to make sure I take some time for my friends! So I'm taking a few minutes here and there to visit!
