It looks like fireworks!!!
CELEBRATE
With a parade
This is a Canadian marching band leading the parade for Canada's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Don't eat too much!

Canada is one of the prettiest places I have visited. They know how to celebrate in blue for Blue Monday.

AHHHHHH THANK YOU for thinking of all of us today Jeanne. Dana, Claudie is not in the kitchen today, she was in it yesterday. Today Claudie is going to see Sister Lolotte. I am Thankful for her, and want to spend some time with sister. We are going to one of the nicest grave yards in Canada. It's not far from her convent/home. We drove through it last month and it took my breath away. I promised her we would come back, and walk and take pictures. It should be beautiful with all the fall colours. Although they are coming to an end soon. It's cold out, but the sun is shining.
Happy Columbus Day to you. I thought there was some kind of holiday for you guys? If it wasn't for Christopher, who knows what would have happened : )
We had a LOVELY day at my sisters yesterday. Britt, Riley, Colt and Jenna were with us. All together there were 26 of us. Unfortunately around 8:30 Randy started to crash... so we packed up and zoomed home. At least we got through drinks, dinner, and dessert. I was a very good girl. I didn't drink, and only had one little plate of food, no dessert. I'm bound to keep loosing these lbs.
Have a great week Jeanne my dear friend.

Hi Jeanne...it was fun today to see all the posts for The Canadian Thanksgiving. It sure puts me in the mood for Fall and all things October and November. Thanks for visiting my Alpine post today. I haven't painted in several years, as quilting took most of my time and energy. Now I have reached the point that I'm saturated with both paintings and quilts! LOL!! Wonder what my next career will be...I guess I've sort of started it with Photography and Blogging! Sure am glad too, as I've so enjoyed Blogland and meeting so many wonderful folks....like YOU! See you soon...Pink Saturday? You Betcha!!!
