BOWLING WITH THE SENIOR GAMES
My hubs loves to bowl and he won a gold medal for coming in first in the men's doubles. Then he and I won third third place, a bronze medal, in mixed doubles. This means we go to Raleigh, NC in the fall for the state competition. We had lots of fun even though he is the one who bowled well enough for us to place. Just like in our life together, he is the best partner for me.
I took these photos of him getting ready to bowl.
Can you tell he is loving being the center of my attention. LOL.
His average in bowlng is 181.
Last night was the Senior Games Banquet and Bill won a chocolate cake for his birthday in May.
Home made and delicious.

We are in Florida for a couple of days for our grandson's piano recital and his brother's 16th birthday. I will catch up with visiting when we return home.

Congrats on your wins! I used to love to bowl. I was on leagues when I lived in NY. My average was 152. I haven't bowled in years....

That is wonderful that you both share an interest. I doubt I could pick up a bowling ball. I wish you two the best in the tournament. I do believe you both make a winning couple.

Congrats to you two!!! That's just wonderful that you get to move on to the state playoffs in the fall!!! My hubby has played in the men's slow pitch part of our St. Sr. Olympics in the past. They have a great time with it. They act like they're playing in the real World's Series!! ;) It's that competitive gene that comes out, isn't it? I'm not very competitive and that drives him nuts. :)
Have the grand kiddos tonight. . . .hadn't seen them in over a week and I was having withdrawals! :) They're both at such sweet ages.
Gotta get something fixed for dinner for them.

That is so cool that you and your hubby are on a bowling tournament together. I am a HORRIBLE bowler. I'd win the gutter ball award.
I hope your trip to Florida will be lovely. I am heading to Utah to see my kids and grandkids and can hardly wait!!!
