My friend Cami at First Day of my Life, is hosting Thankful Thursday. I am happy to join her blog party because being thankful is so important to one's happiness in life.
Benefits of having a grateful attitude
You cannot welcome more abundance into your life until you have said to the universe truly, "Hey, thanks for all I have".
Find out more about the importance of being grateful and why giving gratitude completes the circle of receiving.
You can also place yourself in a better mood by being thankful.
You will find you are in a much more optimistic state after you've spent a few minutes reflecting about your blessings and feeling grateful for them. Compassion and kindness will probably fill your heart.
Happy Thankful Thursday.
Love,
JEANNE

Even when we have bad days they are still better than a lot of other peoples. Being thankful is something we should always remember to do. Hope you all have a wonderful day Jeanne.

Every morning before I get out of bed, I remind myself 3 things I am grateful for.

I'm Thankful-ing a lot lately, and perhaps it's that, with the brightening of the days, which is BRIGHTING me.
Of course, looking in on such dear friends and all their inspiration and lovely pictures are right up there, too. I'm always thankful for you and your sweet friendship!

That is very lovely Jeanne...and TRUE. I am happiest actually, when I stop feeling sorry for myself, and whinning, and JUST DO something for somebody else, and look around me and think WOW, I'm a lucky gal.
I saw a sign on Pinterest once (you probably have seen it too now as everyone sees Pinterest)..anyway, It said "what if you WOKE UP this morning with only the thngs you were THANKFUL FOR the night before"
and guess what..I am thankful for you
and alllll my summer breeze sista's.
ha ha...reminds me of a little story about one of my grandsons (Matt's 10 year old actually) I call those kids every Wednesday night, (my secret promise to Matt, to always keep up with his kids)
Anyway, Collin says "I'm your favorite grandkid aren't I grandma".
"Yes of course". said I. Then we always close off our conversation with Pinky Swear, Best Friends Forever. We have done that with each other since he was THREE.
so...next on the phone comes his 7 year old sister.
Shes says to me in a very distressed voice "Grandma, I Collin REALLY your favorite"
"Why yes" said I.
And also did you know I have 10 FAVORITES.
Would you like me to name them all for you.
At which time I proceeded to list off all the grandkids, were HER name being at the top.
she giggled.
Hmmm, not just sure now why I felt the need to tell you that.
Well HOT DIGGITY, cause I'm just thankful for those 10 favorites.
