A VISITOR FROM CANADA
Many of you know Claudie at, French Pink Poodles and Pearls, my dear friend from Canada. She is visiting me here in the mountains and if you have wondered where I have been...WE HAVE BEEN BUSY PLAYING!!!
My Blog has been neglected and visiting all of you has been not happening. I hope you will forgive me. Sometimes life just happens this way. Especially when Claudie comes to play.
One of our fun outings was a trip to Charleston, SC. It was a whirlwind one night and two day stay with nonstop laughter and fun.
We stayed at the Meeting Street Inn in downtown Charleston. I am sharing a few photos of the good times we enjoyed there.
All of these photos were taken by Claudie. I haven't found a minute to download mine yet. Thank you Claudie, for letting me share your photos.
Claudie and Jeanne slept here...
Mmmmm. delightful!
A fountain by our hotel room.
We went on a carriage ride to see the charming city
Jeanne and Claudie standing very close to the horse Jake.
Jeanne, getting in the carriage.
We went here to do this...
So delicious.
We stopped to smell the gardinias.
We went to Folly Beach. Oops, SC.
Claudie loving Folly Beach.
We ate dinner at Magnolia's.
The food was to die for...but not yet. HA!
A wonderful visit then a long ride home. (five hours)

My time with you Jesnne has been nothing but pure joy. How could we have known 4 yrs ago that this would have happened?
I love you beyond words. As I snuggle in your cozy cabin for my last night, I will always cherish our time together.

Sweet Jeanne, What an adventure you and Claudie have been on. It gets me more excited for my own with Johnny starting this Saturday. It's been so long since we've had a week long vacation together, I can't remember. I love the pics...they captured the fun you both we're having. Then to top it off to celebrate your husband's birthday on your return. How fun! Cheri is SO precious. Love you to the Moon & Back friend~ xoxo

PS - Claudie titled her one pic Charleston, NC - tell her she was in SC in Charleston! HaHa! :) I know it's tough to keep the states straight when you're going through so many. That was cute! xoxo

Your photos of Charleston look beautiful. The picture of the gardenia reminds me of the time I visited my friend's house right out side of Charleston College. There were gardenias surrounding the property. I have to start looking for homes in the Charleston real estate market. It must be a thrill living in such a beautiful area. Thank you for posting your wonderful photos and stories.
