GRANDCHILDREN AND THE COLOR BLUE
First, I can't believe a whole week has gone by since we
arrived home from Florida where two of my daughters live. After being
away for over two weeks, there was lots to do to catch up. The week flew
by and here it is Blue Monday again.
This weekend my daughter posted two photos of her children (teens) on her Facebook page. Since this is the way I keep up with my grands I spotted the following two photos. Yippee! They were wearing blue. I can't miss an opportunity like this can I?
It was homecoming at my grandddaughter's high school and our daughter posted this photo of Ashley all dressd up for homecoming. Ashley is a senior this year and an honor student ranked 5th in her class of 381 students. I'm claimng braggng rights. We are so proud of her. She is a natural blond with beautiful blue eyes. Oops, bragging again. Please forgive me, I can't help it. I will spare you of all her many more accomplishments.
THE PHOTO
That's our girl in her shimmering teal blue dress. She bought this dress when we were visiting and she modeled it for us. Beautiful Ashley.
The next photo is Ashley's brother, our grandson, Logan. He is in the 10th grade and an excellent student. He is in the top 10 of his class of approx. 400 students. We are very proud of him as well. I should mention, our daughter and her husband take a very active part in the raising of their children. Encouragement to achieve has been their way of life in this family. It worked.
Logan is standing next to several trees in Gainesville, Florida at the homingcoming celebration weekend on the University of Florida campus. You can see the trees have been decorated in blue. He is attending the Gator game with his parents. They did win the game.
Go Gators!!!
That's our boy, dressed in blue for the Gator game. I know you had fun Logan.
Happy Blue Monday everyone.
Love,
Jeanne

You have every right to brag. They're wonderful, beautiful grandchildren! I love all the blue trees.
Thanks for sharing.
Happy Blue Monday, Jeanne.

Now THAT is some good blue. I love how your daughter and hubby take an active part in the "parenting" of their children. That is surely how children succeed. Good for them.
Wow....that's a lot of blue. Kinda cool for the homecoming game.
