Beverly, at How Sweet the Sound,
is hosting Pink Saturday for the most fun Blog Party of the
week. Thank you
Beverly for your dedication to Pink Saturday. This is our HAPPY EASTER post. Beverly's creative Pink Saturday fun.
I chose vintage postcards for my tags. They are from the early 1900's. I have saved these cards for several years and decided it was time to share them for our swap. I decorated the back of each card after gluing card stock on the postcards for stability. We made nine each and I think we all loved this project very much. I sure did.
These tags are in different bunches with pics of the front and back. There were too many to do them in one photo.
Oops no ribbon on these yet.
This is the one I gave to Beverly. The sentiment weas perfect for our 42 years of friendship.
The backs next...
Kind of blurry. I was blurry because it was late at night. sigh.
NOW THE LOVELY TAGS I HAVE RECEIVED.
I am still waiting for two more and I will add them tomorrow.
I have to say, the mail coming has become the most delightful part of my day as each card arrived this past week. I have to share them in detail. This post is a bit long this week. Please bear with me.

This wonderfull card with the cross and the lamb is from Kathryn Ross at The Writer's Reverie So pretty and lots of meaning. Thank you Kathryn.
This darling tag with two bunnies and an egg is from Susan at Blackberry Creek Her detail is lovely and reminds me of a quilt, which is Susan's passion. Thank you Susan.
(I didn't share the back because of personal information)
My longtime friend Beverly fashioned her tag in the shape of an egg. Very cute and very clever. You all know Beverly is at How Sweet the Sound. Thank you Beverly.

Thank you from my heart to my circle Journal sisters. I love you all very much.
My Irish dad would have loved this post. I did decorate my table for St.
Patrick's Day in a small way. I say small because my harvest table is 9
ft. long and a centerpiece has to have substance. I was a bit short of
substance. HA! I will make a boiled dinner in honor of my dad though.
My dad had black hair and very blue eyes and he woke up everyday
singing. He made up his own words and kept our household in laughter
every day. He was well loved his
My bit of Irish decorations
I said it was just a bit.
The next pics are from Google. I think they are perfect for Pink Saturday.
My dad, I miss him so much. His name was Randall but he was called Randy by everyone except my mom. He was Randall or dear...
My dad was full of fun and when I saw this next pic it was perfect for my dad's sense of humor.
