Time passes.
Life happens.
Distance separates.
Children grow up.
Jobs come and go.
Love waxes and wanes.
Men don't do what they're supposed to do.
Hearts break.
Parents die.
Colleagues forget favors.
Careers end.
BUT........
Sisters are there,
no matter how much time and how
many miles are between you.
A girl friend is never farther away
than needing her can reach.
When you have to walk that lonesome valley and you
have to walk it by yourself, the women in your life
will be on the valley's rim, cheering you on,
praying for you, pulling for you, intervening on
your behalf, and waiting with open arms at the
valley's end.
Sometimes, they will even break the rules and walk
beside you...Or come in and carry you out.
Girlfriends, daughters, granddaughters,
daughters-in-law, sisters, sisters-in-law, Mothers,
Grandmothers, aunties, nieces, cousins, and extended
family, all bless our life!
The world wouldn't be the same without women, and
neither would I. When we began this adventure called
womanhood, we had no idea of the incredible joys or
sorrows that lay ahead. Nor did we know how much we
would need each other.
Every day, we need each other still. ...Author Unknown
Blessings and love...Jeanne
Oh, yes..Jeanne. I do love women...oh, and I am NOT gay!!
I don't have a sister but I have always wished I had at least one. I have good, good cousins, good friends...but I still have wished I'd had a sister.
You are so so blessed to have yours.

Hello Jeanne...hope you are feeling better this beautiful Sunday morning. This is such a true & sweet sentiment you shared with us today...BJ is so funny, but like her, I always wished I'd had a sister. I'm so happy for you to have yours! ♥ Bo

Truer words have never been spoken. I don't know what I would have done these past few months without my "online-sisters" especially. ♥

Good morning, Jeanne. Love your post about sisters. You and yours are WONDERFUL and I'm so glad to know you all (and to be a SIT is very cool!). Have fun with your family. Love, Linda

Hi Jeanne, I do have sisters but I'm not close with them. They have chosen a different lifestyle than I have. I do have girlfriends who mean the world to me and I would do anything for them! I have also met some wonderful blogging girl friends! ☺
Good luck with the company today. Take it easy and rest too!
take care,
Dawn

I couldn't be more blessed than to have you in my life. You are all of these to me.
I hope you got that pain over with yesterday so that today you will enjoy all of your sisters and cousins - and the guys, too.

Some of my best friends are men so I would have to disagree, I'm afraid. I actually like my men friends better, no offense ladies!
