Susan at, A Southern Daydreamer is the host for our Outdoor Wednesday fun. Be sure to visit Susan's blog to share the great outdoors with the other participants. Thank you Susan for hosting this fun event.
Today I have a variety of outdoor photos to share. A real variety dictated by the weather. I hope you enjoy the show. First some renegade pansies. They just popped up in the driveway.
Look at this sweet little lonesome thing.
Check out the colors in this beauty. Again, it appeared out of the blue.
Can you believe this? Snow on my pansy gardening project. I bought these to pot in those hanging baskets. See the green bag of potting soil on the left? These pansies were so pretty and now they are covered with snow today. The blooms just curled up and went to sleep.
This frog spitting water is waiting for better weather too.
This is what we have looked at all day. A high of 36 and a low of 25. What happened to spring?
This was spring last week. What a difference a day makes.
I hope you enjoyed my variety of pics. Weather in NC can change in a day. Tomorrow it will be 62 degrees high with snow in the early morning and sunny the rest of the day. Never a dull moment living in the mountains.
Blessings and love...Jeanne
Good morning Jeanne...wow, NC does have some drastic weather changes...I thought that only happened here in Texas. Night before last we had to cover everything for an expected freeze...but it only dropped to 34...the week before it was sunny & warm & is supposed to be again the rest of this week. Oh sorry, I didn't mean to give you a weather report. I do love 4 season climates but it always feels like winter lasts too long, spring too short, summer too HOT & fall is fleeting... Have a splendid day, ;-) Bo

Great pictures for Outdoor Wednesday Jeanne! We've had freeze warnings all week. It snowed on the STL Cardinals, on opening day, Monday. They lost the game.:-(
J and I would love to meet ya'll as you pass by on your way to Gladstone!

The pansies are gorgeous! The weather has definitely gone a bit whacky this week. We're down over 20 degrees from our normal daytime highs this time of year. I'm glad for the brief respite from the heat though ... we'll be turning on our a/c before the month's over. Happy Outdoor Wednesday!

Jeanne
Isn't the weather crazy? Your spring was way ahead of our when your snow hit. We were having lovely weather and we really had a storm on Monday and the snow is still around. We knew it would happen but couldn't believe it when it did. I took pics so I'll post mine too.
Your warm weather will melt it soon I'm sure...ours will take a few days I know.
have a lovely day and enjoy the weather.

Hi Dear Jeanne! OH, your out doors is so pretty - even if it did snow on your pansies! Your spring had begun to spring, hadn't it? Either way, your view is beautiful! Take care, sweet friend,
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Oh Utah is the same. This spring seems to cooler though and stormier. It just finished Hailing a good one out side and it was 71 yesterday. Snow last week end. We never know what to predict.
Your pansies are sweet.
Jeanne, I hope this Easter will be an especially good one for your family as you contemplate the blessings of Christ's resurrection and knowing Beth too will rise again...
You are a very special lady!
