It is already Tuesday and it is time for sharing our 2nd time around treasures. Since I am on vacation I am sharing some vintage items I think you will enjoy. They are not mine, but they are items that were once used and now in a museum we visited in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I think that qualifies for 2nd time around. Thank you Diane for hosting this fun event. Be sure and visit Diane's Blog at, A Picture is Worth a 1000 Words, for more 2nd time around treasures. Could you live like this?
Some of these photos were behind glass. Not the best conditions for taking a photo. I love the coat and the little girl's dress. There was a lot of history behind these items but It was too hard to get the info on my blog. All of these items were from pioneer family's in Jackson Hole. I loved my visit and there was lots more to see besides these few photos.
Today we drove 10 plus hours to Grand Junction, Colorado. We are looking forward to seeing the sights tomorrow. Several people have asked me if we are home yet. We are not going to be home until June 21st.
Love...Jeanne
Oh yes, these definitely qualify. I do believe God had me born at the right time because I don't think I am cut out to be a pioneer.
I need my high thread count sheets, cloth napkins and crushed ice. ;-)
Love you bunches.

Years ago, Bill was doing work in Montrose, right there by Grand Junction. The kids were little and we moved there with him for a year. I learned to snow ski in Grand Junction. We went there every weekend to ski and had so much fun. We met lots of friends there and still have one couple that we stay in touch with.
It sounds as if you are taking the trip of a lifetime...
Have fun and stay safe..

Primitive yet very quaint and appealing. I could probably live in that cabin, or whatever it is. Give me four walls and running water and I'm good. Oh, and electricity! Have fun in the sun!

Hi Jeanne!! I love to look at those old things, but I am glad I don't have to live like that. We are so lucky our forefathers were brave enough to do that, however, and much, much more.
I spent Sat. at a sale at the Vaile Mansion, Sun. with the Wizard of Oz Party and today trying to take the gr. girl to a petting farm BUT it stormed and stormed. We didn't make it to the farm, but sure had fun playing in the indoor playground of Chic-filet and later having lunch there!! Mary, Mary Ann and I all had the Grands and we met up to take them to the farm. I think they had a good time at Chic-filet--they didn't need to pet a baby goat!! :)
Your fun vacation just continues and continues!! So sorry about not being able to connect with Bo.
Thanks for keeping us posted!! L, Dana
