A blue Monday, not really, it rained today. No blue skies here. We stayed in quite a bit today. I looked through my vacation pictures and I found just the right thing to share today. This post is all about finding blue things to share at an antique shop I visited in Missouri on our way out west. I want to thank our host Sally at, Smiling Sally, for this Blue Monday event we enjoy so much.
A pretty store and I couldn't resist looking around.
In case your are ever in Camdenton, MO. Don't miss this very nice shop.
Blue art glass Sally. I know you love it!!
I'm a little teapot, hear me shout!!!
For all you quilt lovers out there.
For all you blue and white collectors. Gorgeous!
OK, that was all the blue I found that day. I did buy two things I will share another day. The shop had the nicest ladies to help me there.
Now go to Sally's blog and enjoy the blue. There are great blues to share and enjoy.

Happy Blue Monday, dear Jeanne. I guess you are off on another part of your trip today. I hope you have a wonderful day for traveling.
I smiled when you posted you found two things to purchase. I can't wait to see your new pretties.

Well for heaven sake Jeanne!!! We love that store! When the photo was loading, I thought, could this be? Sure enough, there it is!! Everything is so neatly displayed. And there is a bench for J, inside and outside!
You had to have passed through my old hometown, Lebanon, on your way to this store. I tried to figure out your route. Did you pass through Osage Beach, too? If so, you went past Evergreen! It's fun seeing familiar places in your photos! If/when you crossed the Grand Glaize bridge, had you looked to the right, up to the ridge, you would have seen the woods, where our condo is!:-)
Great post!

Hope your weather clears for you, Jeanne, and that it ends up being a pretty Blue Monday.
Look at all the blue, but I have to say that my favorite are the quilts! I love and adore quilts and am fascinated with the thought of the antique ones and who made them, etc.
Love to you on Blue Monday and wishes for a happy one!
XO,
Sheila... (you've got to see what Rue made for me!)

I really should get out a few of the quilts and afghans that my grandmother made us... they have pieces of material from our childhood clothes and other memorable cloth.. each pieced area tells a story and shares a memory.

Jeanne I forgot to tell you that you have been my featured site for the last week. You have such interesting posts that I truly enjoy reading about.
We were also in Yellowstone Park when we lived in Wyoming. Old faithful was spitting at us!! We loved all the wild life. I adore your picture of the little chipmunk the best. I have a soft spot for them. We have one here that lives around our foundation. Our momma cat keeps bringing him into the house as a gift...but we scolded her and just drops it and he runs away everytime. We do not want her hurt. We just rescued one of her babies that fell through the insulation in the basement. Riley found it, but it was a little late. We tried soooooo hard to bring the little baby back to life. We warmed him up, stroked his little body, gave it droplets of water, and thought we did it. 20 minutes later he passed away in our hands. We buried him yesterday with all our other little furry friends. So sad, but we tried so hard.
So it's a blue monday here for sure.
Sending you love and hugs.
Love Claudie

Lovely blues. I like the teapot the best. I'm guessing you always have your camera by your side. ☺ I was a little blue today myself. We were planning a field trip to the beach and it got postponed because of the weather, which ended up not being an issue at all!
take care,
Dawn
