FRIENDSHIPS

This summer has been a special time  to meet friends we have only know from the computer.  Our travels took us to a family in Missouri that we connected to the moment we met.  Bill belongs to a Sports Forum called The Skybox.  This is where he has made many cyber friends.  There are many participants who support their favorite sports teams and offer their thoughts and opinions and root for their teams, on this forum.  This is where AJ and his family come in to the picture.  AJ, and I venture to say, his family, are Nebraska Cornhusker fans as well as St. Louis Cardinals fans.  AJ is a retired Marine who loves America.  On our travels out West we were fortunate enough to meet AJ and his charming family.  I hope you enjoy meeting them too.

This is their lovely home where we were invited for Pizza and we felt like family right away.  In the yard is AJ's wife Shawn and Chase, one of their two sons.


This all American family loves their country.


Meet Chase AJ and Taylor along with the family dogs Maggie and Molly.


Here they are again with a muscle competition, which Bill said AJ lost.  :)  Could that be a husker shirt and hat?


Shawn, AJ's charming wife.  She is a wonderful homemaker and hostess.


Shawn and Taylor.  Taylor is a very good athlete in baseball and Golf.  His younger brother Chase will probably be following in his footsteps as younger brothers often do.


Taylor and Chase.  When we met them they looked us in the eye with big smiles on their faces and shook our hands.  We were very impressed with the love of this family and it felt like we have know them for a long time.


The boys are in their game faces.  Do you think their dad is influencing them to become Husker graduates?  Bill sure tried to influence our children to become Gator graduates and it worked on three out of five.  BIG smile.


We can't leave these adorable family members out.  Molly and Maggie.  They are dappled short haired standard Dachshunds.  Note:  Their eyes are really a beautiful brown!!!


I fell in love with the lovely dining room and wanted to share it with you.  The painted hutch is charming and fun.  Shawn is a great decorator.
