Pink Saturday is a day for flaunting the color Pink. Beverly at, How Sweet the Sound, says pink is not just a color it's an attitude. Well I found some pink that has attitude. Look at this!
That's Wyoming (at the ski resort.)
NOW FOR THE ATTITUDE
I met a young man downtown in Jackson Hole. His name is Ian and he just graduated from Jackson Hole High School the night before. He died his hair pink for the occasion. I bet he was a big hit on graduation night. Ian gave me permission to post him on my blog. Ian, I hope you remembered how to look at this post. Thank you for the Pink Saturday fun.
Now please visit as many Pinkies as you can. I let you off light with this short post.. More time for visiting. Right???

ANNOUNCEMENT
As you read this post we will be way up in a cabin in Hartsel, Colorado. We have rented Suzanne's cabin for our last week of our vacation. Her blog is Coloradolady. Go visit her blog you will enjoy her fun posts. From there we will start back home. While we are there we will not have a connection to the internet. I am forced into a bloggy week off. I can use a break but I will miss you my dear blogging friends. Don't forget me.
Blessings and love...Jeanne
Dear Jeanne,
What a wonderful post.
Ian is lucky...a lot of schools even in these liberal times will not let you graduate if you do things like that....however...from a mother who both children...boy and girl..have history of dying their hair every color there is....Ian's pink is a perfect color of pink that neither of my children were ever able to accomplish...very pretty shade of pink...so sweet of him to let you take his picture...I am sure he is a good kid.
Susan's cabin is beautiful.
I am looking forward to your beautiful pictures.
will miss you.
hugs

This is a fun pink post. Good thing Ian and the little girls are willing to share their pink with us :-) And you may be right, with a hair like that I an must be real hit on his graduation. Maybe he got inspired by the pink "Jackson Hole" sign :-)
Hope you have a fun, peaceful week. The place looks serene. It's just you, your loveone, and nature. Very nice place and time to spend with. :-)
Happy Pink Saturday Jeanne! And thanks for the greeting :-)

Great post, Jeanne! Lucky you ran across that young man. I remember back in the day when we had all sorts of fancy shoelaces, glad they're coming back.
If you go for a walk in the woods while at Suzanne's, maybe you'll find some vintage treasures like she did. Look in the nooks of trees!

I hope you are enjoying your bloggy break, Jeanne. I enjoyed mine, but when I returned---my computer wasn't working. I spent most of yesterday getting help and working with it. It's up and running--for now! :)
I LOVED your terrific PINKS--you are such a creative genius! That Ian is a cutie with his PINK locks!
I'm going to Sharleen's for the book signing on Friday evening!! Wish I would have kept your book and so I could have him sign yours, too!! They had a little notice about the signing in Sunday's KC Star paper!! I hope it brings lots of new customers to her shop.
Hope your week in CO is fun--but I'm guessing you are ready to return home!!
