Has this ever happened in your house? It happened in the cabin yesterday.
This is a recipe for disaster.
1. A fourteen year old grandson in the bathroom in the cabin.
2. A need for lots of toilet paper.
3. A house full of more grand kid's playing in the living room of the cabin.
4. Flushing the toilet.
5. An emergency exit from the bathroom by above grandson.
6. An announcement (screaming) from same grandson.
7. Quote..."Get out! get out! there's going to be a flood."
8. Youngest grandson shouting as he ran for the house. "Grandma, Grandma, there's a flood in the cabin."
9. Four adults running from the house to the cabin.
10. The above grandson frantically throwing every towel, washcloth, rug, etc. on the bathroom floor.
11. Grandma, (that would be me) running back to the house for all the towels she could carry.
12. Grandma (that would be me) grabbing the plunger which no one seemed to remember to use.
13. The unlucky number as you all know, washing a gazillian (the bathtub was full to the brim) towels, washcloths, rugs, etc. for the next several hours. LOL. Why me?????
I wouldn't try this recipe, if I were you. BIG smile. There is one redeeming factor in this disaster. The guilty grandson finally did remember to turn off the water behind the toilet. He shall remain nameless to protect his identity. Last... in case your imagination is running wild. The first flush went down. It was the second flush that went so very wrong. Clear water!!!! Thank you Lord.

Jeanne, this made me laugh again this morning. Poor guy!
I can tell you that we have had to use the plunger on many grandson visits. What is it with those guys?!
Well, we love them anyway.
Love you, too.

Hahahaha....I bet it was madness for a bit!!!! He was probably embarrassed beyond belief. Yep, that plunger has saved many a day around our home......

There's nothing like an overflowing toilet to put some excitement in a visit!! :) I can see you racing across the yard with armload of towels, then madly putting the plunger in motion! It's typical Jeanne to see the humor in the situation....that's what keeps you so danged young!! Looking forward to our next update!!! L, Dana

LOL Oh, Jeanne, I'm soooo very glad that you told me that this was a flood of SECOND FLUSH. LOL Clear water--maybe not clean, but clear is better than what I was envisioning. LOL OH MY! LOL
As a matter of fact, I did have a granddaughter come close to this. She did NOT flush but made many swipes with toilet paper. The word CLOGGED is an understatement. The water was not clean or clear; however, with the help of a plunger, we were spared a flood.

Know what this is like - granddaughters are good at this comedy of errors too!
Glad you're settled back at home - think you must be looking forward to a rest soon!
We're going home tomorrow - New England has been all things this trip, pouring rain, thunderstorms, pea soup fog, brilliant sun and pleasant cool nights. All in all, a lovely time though.
Next trip we head West - just a quick break at home to re-group, do laundry and re-pack.......life is busy.
Hope to have free time come late Summer/Fall.
Hugs - Mary.

I do not know why, but she has found out that she can trust me and no one else. Please if you have time, if you are able to answer these questions for me, and one more thing, why does this horse trust me in the way that she does and no one else? Thank you for all the time that you have and answering the questions that I lay on you. I just want to know f there is something about me that all the horses love that no one else has. I'm sorry to disturb you. Please write to me soon.
