Lifestyle Evangelism
According to Rick warren, there are two basic reasons people don' know Christ as their Lord and savior: (1) they have never met a Christian; and (2) they have met a Christian. Christian influence is no small matter.
Think of this...just by living a Christian lifestyle we daily influence everyone around us. True, telling people about Jesus Christ may be a difficult task for some of us, but living a Christ like life is witnessing in a very strong way. Your lifestyle is a form of evangelism in itself.
Blessings...Jeanne

Jeanne,
Your posts are always so thought provoking. This is so true, I know that it happened to me before I found Christ. I remember asking a Pastor about what it means to "find Christ". His answer, "well, sometimes you are following Satan"! Ugh, if only He had truly known the Savior, He could have led me to Christ twenty years earlier. God is faithful and I finally found Christ, and now I try to be so careful gentle with others. Being mindful is so important.
Blessings,Karen

I believe in simplicity... Actions oft speak so very very much louder than words.

"Actions speak louder than words". And as Christ's ambassadors, people around us are always observant of the way we talk and the way we do things. Blessings.

We're afraid to speak out because of offending someone, so we therefore, offend them further by allowing hiding the gift of Heaven!

This is a very sobering thought. We once had a member of our congregation who knew the Bible forward and backward but he had someone tell him one time that he was not a good man. This was many many years ago and I remember it very well. Actions certainly do speak louder than words.
Blessings,
Charlotte
