Hello my dear blogging friends, I'm home from my wonderful trip to Michigan. I ran the roads for a solid week and visited my family too. The week flew by and when I arrived home late last night, I was so pleased to read all of your lovely comments. I am trying to visit each of you and catch up on your blog posts as soon as I can.
Today is Blue Monday and I want to share a purchase I made to water my plants when I am gone. this was a plan to put in to operation while I was in Michigan. The underlying word is WAS. I forgot to do it and my poor plants had a setback because my dh did not remember to water them. Sigh. Have you ever used these?
I love these globes and I hope they work. I will let you know how it goes.
Sally at, Smiling Sally, is out host for Blue Monday. Thanks Sally, for this day to show our blue. Please be sure to visit Sally's blog to share your blue with our blogging friends.
How true is this?
Before marriage the three Little words are...
"I LOVE YOU"
After marriage they are...
"LET'S EAT OUT"
Blessings and love...Jeanne
I have always wondered if those pretty glass globes work. You will have to let me know after you try them. Glad you are home safe and sound.
Hugs,
Penny

I've been wondering about those, too. You'll have to give us an update.
I'm glad you're home, and I'm glad you had fun.
Love you.

You are sooooo right on the words to say, sugar, but usually it's ME that says "let's eat out"! What's a chick to do, hmmmm????

Oh, I hope they work because I've been wanting some of those, too. I'm not planning to travel soon - I just think they're pretty to look at. Happy Blue Monday!

I have one of these globes. I think it works pretty well, but it's too long for the depth of my planters.
Hope you'll stop by and check out my giveaway. It runs all week.

I've seen them advertised on TV and for sale. I wanted to buy them, but Johnny nixed the idea. I think they'd work, and they'd look pretty. One day, I think I'll go back and pick 'em up! I'm wishing you a delightful Blue Monday.

Glad you are back from a well deserved vacation. I love your thoughts at the end of your post today. Very true. I have seen these watering globes and think they are so pretty, but never bought them. I am blessed with a neighbor that waters mine.

I've seen those globes, too. Like you, I wonder if they work. Now you can be my mad scientist and conduct the experiment for all of us. I'm so glad you had a good visit with family and hope the transition to peace and quiet isn't too jarring. Have a great Blue Monday.

They are pretty. I have had mixed success with mine. They tend to plug up with soil and can be top heavy if they aren't used in a large enough planter.

We were given a set for Christmas. I think they work. I end up not refilling them and just watering the plants instead...but for a trip away they would probably be a great solution.
Glad you had a good trip. I am sure it feels good to be home, though.

Cute water globes. It's a good idea. My hubby forgot to water my plants when I was away once too (and they died) - but I'm pretty flexible and just let it roll off and not bother me. My neighbor now, well she needs to relax - screamed at her daughter for not watering her flowering bushes the "right" way while she was gone. Wound a little too tightly. Best to relax everyone!

Those things are cool, Jeanne!
Long time no see, but I hope to be back soon. I'm on a borrowed computer tonight.
XO,
Sheila :-)
