Blue Monday is hosted by Sally at, Smiling Sally . Thank you Sally for the opportunity to share our love of blue. Be sure and visit Sally for lots more of treasures and the color blue.
This weekend I was at my daughter's home in Florida and I took some photos of her hutch which is showing off my mother's china. My sister Jane Anne inherited it from our mom and since she knew my daughter did not have fine china she gave this set to her. Needless to say this is a treasure that my daughter is very pleased to own. The pattern is Tremont, by Mikasa. Much prettier in person. My photos are not great.
Closeup of the pattern. A lovely blue green.
There are many extra pieces to this set and my mom loved it. I will say she had many sets of dishes and loved them all. She loved setting a beautiful table. She would love the many beautiful tablescapes our bloggers share.

I am joining Cielo, at, The House in the Roses, in her 'Show off off your Cottage Monday' event today. I recently tweaked my bedroom and I am sharing that room today. I wouldn't say my room is the cottage look but I hope you enjoy it. I love this room and go there to read and relax. For more lovely rooms to enjoy, be sure and visit Cielo.
I recently found the gold on gold sheers and even though my photo is compromised by the light, you can tell they match the painted striped walls and the bed skirt. I found them in Lowe's and squealed with delight at $14.00 a panel.
The dresser matches the bed and the end tables which is a copy of an antique Bedroom set from long ago. I love the look and I have slept in a four poster bed since I was married. I love this style of furniture.
The change in this corner of my bedroom is the removal of two end tables on both sides of the settee. The table there now was behind the settee in the corner. It is much roomier. The rug is Karastan, found at an estate sale.
Thank you for visiting today.
This photo shows the cabinet where I recently added my poodle collection. My collection of Royal Daulton figurines are in the cabinet. The fireplace is faux. I love the look and I have to tell people it is not real.

Good morning and Happy Day Before, my dearest friend. I'm glad to see that you are safely home.
Please give me a call when you get some news today.
I love your mother's dishes, and that was so sweet of Jane Anne. It must have made your mother smile.
Your bedroom is beautiful. I see so many things that I remember well. But, I must say that I have a hard time imagining you squealing. Really?!!!

Oh my gosh, your bedroom is elegant!!! The sheers look like they were custom made to match your bedskirt. I also can't get over how BIG your bedroom is! I don't think I'd ever leave that room if it were my bedroom!
I also loved seeing your mom's china in your daughter's hutch. What a beautiful pattern and color! I also have my Nana's china displayed on my hutch. It's so very special to me.

Jeanne your bedroom is so beautiful! It must be so nice to have the pretty sitting area in it to go to when you want to peace and quiet. Your collections are so nicely displayed.
It's so nice that your daughter now has your Mom's pretty china and that she is now able to use and enjoy it.
