My grandsons, son and daughter-in-law. Their dog Dixie, is no longer with us.There are two step granddaughters who are very special, but not pictured here. I need a current family photo to share. I'll work on it.
This photo was taken the first Christmas we spent in our home...May 2007. We had just been to the Christmas tree farm and our tree has not even been decorated yet.
We spent the weekend in Tennessee with my son and daughter-in-law and of course, I found some sweet vintage treasures that are probably many times around. They were purchased in an antique store, handed down in the family etc. We drove through the most unbelievable snow to get there. Pleas check my previous for snow pics if you are interested. They are amazing.
Photos of the vintage treasures next...
These cookie cutters are made out of tin. The silverware caddy is a gift to my daughter-in-law for her birthday. It too, is very old.
My DIL collects these charming hot pads and uses them for coasters. They work perfectly and look awesome in her 1930's home.
Thank you for stopping by at this very busy time of the year.
Merry Christmas
Jeanne
Aaaaacccckkkk, I have some of those vintage cookies cutters but didn't realize they were vintage, sugar!!! I stopped baking cut-out cookies several years ago, but will have to do something special with the cookie cutters now.....like paint them PINK and put on the tree next year, chickee?!?! Beautiful family, honey...

Hello Jeanne! I love those vintage cookie cutters....AND that amazing silverware caddy!
I hope all is well with you guys....we're supposed to be getting RAIN (can you BELIEVE it?) tomorrow....lots of it....then turning to SNOW late Christmas Eve and into the early hours of Christmas Day!
I shopped like a fool today....and only have a few items to fetch in the a.m.. Then, it's back home to cook! We're spending C. Eve with our son, his family, his in-laws (who just rolled in from Montana!) and my BIL and family..and our daughter. Christmas Day is a repeat, minus the BIL, plus my niece and her hubby! :) We'll gather at our son's home, just 30 min. away. I'm bringing: a thawed turkey, roasting pan, pork tenderloins, twice baked potatoes, various desserts.....somehow, I think it would have been lots easier for me to have had the shindig HERE! :)
You and Bill have been so great to travel all over the place for your family this year...I can tell you that I am so grateful that part of your visits included a couple of trips to our neck of the woods. Even though I have been with you in person only two times, I feel I've known you forever. You're a doll....and I wish you and yours the bestest Christmas EVER!!!!

Jaramillo has been with KFOX since 2006, when she returned to El Paso to host the morning show after a three-year stint at KTVU, the Fox affiliate in San Francisco. Of course, she was KFOX's first-ever anchor in 2011 ore that she was a reporter at KVIA here in El Paso and for TV stations in Roswell, N.M.
Happy new year by joy.
