Pink Saturday is hosted by Beverly at, How Sweet the Sound. Thank you Beverly for sharing a world of pink.
NOTICE
Please send get well wishes to Beverly. She fell yesterday and is pretty bruised and in pain. No broken bones but aches and pain are not good at Christmas time.
This is for you my dearest friend...
Now for my pink
My pink Christmas dishes. The photo is a bit over exposed. The dishes are all the same color.
He is my PINK Santa.
I started collecting them last December. I have 14 dinner plates and I also have four salad plates. I am looking for more salad plates. The dishes are made by Johnson Bros.
My favorite all time Christmas decoration.
This tree is completely decorated with fruit ornaments. Many are made in Germany and some are from Frankenmuth, MI at the famous Christmas store there. Antthing that is fruit goes on this tree. I do have some vintage sugar plum ornaments from the late 1940's.
I collected these fruit ornaments for many years before I could have enough for my fruit Christmas tree. The ornaments and the tree are my most favorite decoration ever. I am very proud of my many fruit ornaments. Many of them were gifts from family and friends, which makes this tree even more special.
Merry Christmas to you all
Love, Jeanne.
Oh my goodness gracious, those plates!!!! I have been looking for plates similar to this for years now. I actually have been looking for that red transfer ware for every day use (didn't even realize they would have it for christmas also) I found one at a yard sale this summer. Did a video sometime back showing the plate in a video (Yard Sale Haul. I think I paid 50 cents for it, if not less..
The tree is just lovely. My little tree in the rec room has a bow at the top also, but the ribbon doesn't hang down as far as yours. I REALLY love that look of yours. this year was my first attempt at doing something like that...

Oh, that fruit tree is GORGEOUS!!! Please make some closeups of the sugared 1940's fruits sometime, okay? I sooo love the Johnson Bro. Christmas plates, too. I really would like to have some, but we majorly invested in the Spode Christmas plates so it will be awhile. That pink Santa is right up my alley, too! You need to stop by and see some of my past posts lately ~ then you'll understand why I totally LOVE that pink Santa!
Big Hugs,

That 'FruitieTree' looks good enough to eat, and certainly the most beautiful collection of fruit ornaments I've ever seen....any Pears with Partridges? Love the plates...I've always wanted a collection of Christmas Dishes. We are having a big Family Gathering today and I guess they'll have to eat off my collection of 'Chinet'!

The fruit tree is beautiful, Jeanne! You invested so much time in collecting those ornaments - it is stunning. And I love your dishes, as well. Being from Michigan, originally, I remember Frankenmuth very well!

Jeanne,
Your home looks so lovely for Christmas, that tree is beautiful. I love your dishes and your matching Santa. I bought similar design dishes for my mom several years ago, because her living room is pink. She keeps her table set this time of year.
Your home is a Christmas card.

The dishes are lovely, but that tree is stunning, chick! I'm going to be working on our today...the pink and white one. This will take hours if not days to assemble, ya know, sugar! But I'm a determined ol' lady...

I LOVE your Christmas dishes....I'm very jealous! :)
I also love you tree decorated in fruit! You have the best ideas---fruit ornaments!
I hope you have a wonderful Pink Sat....I'm behind on my decorating. I had to attend a luncheon yesterday, then pick up the Grands so my DIL could rest. The baby had been up a bunch the night before.
So, I'm going to stay home today and work, work, work!
Have a great day! L, Dana

Jeanne,
Thank you for letting us know about Beverly. You're a good friend!
THOSE PLATES...why did you show them? Now I NEED them! What a beautiful table setting. LOVED those touches of the pearly napkin rings. I have jars of old pearls I've collected through the years and you've inspired me with a beautiful way to use them. Your tree is also very special. It must be fun to unwrap those ornaments each year and remember who they are from, where you found this one, etc....very special.
I'm not playing PS today but peeked in for some inspiration anyway.

We don't need elaborate decorations or a big tree or numerous gifts under a tree. All any of us needs is to carry the spirit of Christmas in our hearts and to share it all year long with everyone we meet.
Thank you so much for sharing your blog with me today. Yes, I'm crazy about ♥PINK♥ but I'm also devoted to visiting some of the nicest blogs in cyberspace.
Hoping your weekend is filled with peace.
