Blue Monday is hosted by Sally at, Smiling Sally. All you lovers of blue get on over to Sally's Blog to soak up some blue.
Today I am sharing a bit of my granddaughter's bedroom walls. This is where we sleep when we visit them. Her Daddy is an artist and he painted her walls with something she loves. She is a Libra just like me, and we love flowers.
Ashley lounging on my settee in my bedroom.
Now her room...
Her desk
The back of Ashley's bedroom door.
She sleeps on a double brass bed that belonged to her Great Grandmother Mollie who lived to be 90 years old. Mollie took care of Ashley when she was a newborn until she went to school. They loved each other dearly and Ashley has wonderful memories of her.
All the flowers were hand painted by her daddy. I know I already said it, but just in case you missed reading it...
He can paint anything but it is not his profession.
HE WORKS AT DISNEY WORLD!
Hooray, we can get in for free!!
More of her room on another post.
Would those huge flowers keep you awake at night?
Happy Blue Monday
Love, Jeanne
I love this peek into Ashley's bedroom Jeanne, seeing some of her collections and decorations--she looks like such a sweet girl. It's so neat that her dad can paint and put the flowers on the walls for her. I love that she is sleeping in her great-grandmother Molly's bed. How special that she was taken care of by this grandma as a young child--that hardly happens anymore, and I think that makes it all the more precious.

How NEAT that the family can get into Disney World free cause Daddy works there!!! Ashley's room looks so neat and perfect for a girl!! Her Dad paints great and I LOVE those big flowers on her walls. Look at all her bags too! Lexi has quite a few bags/totes also....she loves them.
Hope you are having a wonderful Monday. Yesterday we got a really light dusting of snow and it melted away promptly. Just really, really cold here today.♥

Hi Jeanne
Your granddaughter is so pretty and looking so happy on your settee. Her bedroom flowers are wonderful and her dad really is talented. I hope he uses that talent often. I wish I could paint and dry like that.
The bed is lovely...how special that they have kept it.
Thank you for sharing...hope you had a lovely Valentine's Day..and a special day today too!
*hugs*

That certainly looks like a teenage girls room, sugar. Bright and cheery and her OWN, which I advocate to mothers with teens. They need to have a say in where they spend their free time. This does NOT apply to Love Bunny hubbys however! Hah.

Ashley is a real doll just like her Grandmother : )
And her daddy works at DISNEY?????? Julie's friend'ss son also works at Disney. He's the Canadian Ambassador how cool is that? We're hoping we can get the back stage scoop... now I know we can for sure LOL I was also thinking if 4 of us went, we could treat ourselves to the "GRAND FLORIDIAN" for a night. Let's splurge and have a slumber party. How about that? I LOVE that hotel.
You might want to come back when you get a chance, I'm on a roll here. I posted about Vancouver. My dear friend's pictures from Granville Island. I think you'll like it a lot.
Tell Ashley that she very lucky to have such a cute room. My mom would never allow things on my wall let alone pretty flowers like that. Heck I wasn't even allowed to sit on my bed...I know weird...oh well gotta love the "rules" sometimes.
See you in 4 weeks...YAHOOOOOOOOOOOO
Love You

Hi Jeanne! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all the bags on the back of her door, and I have to smile, as it reminds me of ME!!!! That photo looks so familiar to me! Much like one I posted some time ago!... She better watch out, because if she loves bags as much as I do, she's going to need a separate room just for them alone! Love all the flowers her Daddy painted for her!.. That's a wonderful thing she'll ALWAYS remember! Happy Blue Monday! ~tina
