Susan at, A Southern Daydreamer, is our host for today's event. I have so much fun with this event and I know you would too if you love the great outdoors. Be sure and visit Susan at her blog for lots more outdoor fun.
Place yourself in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and ask yourself. What should I do when a mama moose has her baby in my front yard? A mama moose is very protective of their babies. She would charge anyone who comes near her baby and she is a dangerous animal should this occur.
Now check this out.
PLEASE NOTE: These photos are from my cousin who lives in the Upper Peninsula of MI.
Naubinway, Michigan
Allen and I were out bike riding when we came upon the pair. The lady across the street from this house told us she saw it being born. We saw them at 5:30 PM. So the little one was 12 hours old. What an awesome place we live in to see such a sight.
Here is the answer to the question I asked above about what you would do if a moose had it's baby in your front yard.
Hello, boss I cannot come in to work today.
I loved this, I hope you do too.
Blessings, Jeanne

What a story to tell, sugar!!! That is truly awesome to have something born in your front yard. Of course, now it probably thinks that is its home and won't move. But moose are really BIG and it can stay whereeverrrrrrr it wants. Cute story, sweetpea.

Morning Jeanne,
I LOVE this....how exciting. Nope I wouldn't be going to work....I would just have to watch them all day!!! That is so sweet.
I wanted to let you know how much your comments mean to me. I LOVE your comments about Lexi. You are always so sweet. I definitely hope she turns out as wonderful as your children and grandchildren. Oh, and I was going to tell you planning my menus helps me tremendously. I know and have the ingredients for whatever we are having and Lexi can just look at the chalkboard and know what dinner is going to be. I'm not scrambling every night deciding what to make.
Hope you are enjoying your day. Sorry you have a bunch of snow again. I know you are tired of it by now. We are supposed to get a small amount tomorrow....we will just have to wait and see.♥

What a fabulous post! What an awesome sight. I can just imagine my boss if I called in with that excuse! I would definitely have to send a picture to his BB if that were to occur! Although, he has been pretty patient with me over the years when I have had to call and tell him I was going to be late because I was in the middle of a rescue. When I finally arrive he just looks at me and shakes his head!
Thank you for sharing these fabulous photos of the moose and her baby.
