I AM STILL ON A BLOGGY BREAK
I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS REPOST
This
may be the most fun I've had with 2nd Time Around Tuesday. Thank you
Diane for being the host of this fun event. Please be sure to go to
Diane's blog at, A Picture is Worth a 1000 Words, to share the 2nd Time around Treasures with other participants who have joined in the fun.
As
most of you know my sister lives behind me and she is my backyard
neighbor. Thus, my blog name. Yesterday my dh drove me up to my
sister's house to visit for a bit and up by her deck was a sight that
made me laugh out loud. I hope you too see the humor in the photo I am
about to show you. Her better half is the 'artist' who displayed these
2nd time around treasures. My sister tells me he purchased a new
bottle of wine because the bottle is cobalt blue. Mmmmm we will have
to be on the lookout for the new addition. One of these treasures on
display was a gift from me that I purchased at a house sale. I wonder
if you can guess which one I gave him.
Smiling
BIG here. You have to admit, using these wine bottles is definitely
the 2nd. time around. Because it is still winter and there are no
flowers or greenery in the bed below these bottles, it is rather
stark. Her flower box above is usually filled with flowers and the
flower bed below the art display is Irish moss. This side deck from
the dining area is very pretty in the summer and I promise to show it
again all dressed up for entertaining. We have had some lovely BBQ's
out there. I hope you have enjoyed the unique yard art display. I
think Better Homes and Garden should be told about this idea. Don't
you?

Good morning, dear Jeanne. I am finishing my cup of coffee before I head out to work.
Good luck with your cleaning project. Don't hurt your shoulder.

You BIL is a real artist, he should make himself a bottle tree to add to the collection, you have to admit it is a nice way to add color to a drab winters day.

I'd call that recycling! Tell him his yard art looks great.

Hi Jeanne,
Love those bottles. I've always wanted a bottle tree, but still don't have one.
Thanks for linking to 2nd Time Around!
