My blue for today was recently found at Good Will for $10. It was made in Japan. I think it is interesting that the cups are so large. The teapot filled could not fill all of those large cups. Tha handle is solid brass. Very pretty.
Be sure and visit Sally at, Smiling Sally for lots more blue treasures.
Sally you are in my prayers. I just saw your post about your surgery.
Thinking of you my dear friend.
I want to share a meme with you awarded to me by Emily at Marvelous Recipes It was an award that I am pleased to receive. Thank you Emily. Along with this award is a meme of seven things you might not know about me. Please feel free to play along my dear blogging friends. The award is for one and all because I feel that anyone who blogs is very 'Kreativ' BIG smile!
1. I begged my mom to teach me to read and write before I was in the first grade because my older sister was in school and I wanted to go to school too. Home schooled way back then. HA!
2. I had a pet cow named Blondie when I lived on a dairy farm until I was nine years old.
3. I have four sisters and one brother. In the summer when it was hot, I would, along with my older sister, go out of the window of our 2nd story bedroom and sleep on the porch roof. (my mom never knew)
4. I drove my Dad's old car (was told not to) around the block and it didn't have any brakes. I stopped it by knocking down our mail box. Was I in trouble? Oh yeah. I was 15 years old.
5. I won a silver medal when I was 50 years old, Nastar downhill ski racing in Steam Boat Springs, Colorado. I had a press release. (I was scared to death, but I did it) HA! Ski racing is my favorite Olympic sport.
6. You won't believe this but I am afraid of heights. Thus, my fear of racing downhill.
7. I have five children along with two miscarriages. Yes, I do know where babies come from. HA!
Since I have done a few of these memes I had to think hard to come up with these facts about me. Did I shock you??? BIG smile. I left a good one out for another day. Now, don't ask me what it is. I may never tell this one.

Have a wonderful Blue Monday and 2nd Time Around Tuesday
Love, Jeanne
Hi Jeanne. What lovely Chinese blue china. And a great bargain. I loved reading your 7 things.
Have a nice day

Hi Jeanne...Wow, Monday already! I missed everyone for Pink Saturday...was doing the 9to5 Thingy again in Ft.Stockton! The cups really are big for a Japan made tea/coffe/saki set...for the accomplished Hostess...less pouring practice. Weren't the USA Skiers amazing in the Olympics? A Silver Medal at any age on the slopes makes you a STAR! I've never snow skied! I used to water ski and my best story about that...made a two piece suit out of a one piece after a big wave jumping trick...lost the top and both skis.

Sleeping on a second story roof?? Oh that is scary to me.
Your tea set is very lovely.
Have a great day!

What a great find for only $10! It's a beautiful tea set!
I love that you had to stop your Dad's car by running into the mailbox!

Beautiful find. The cups are very big for a tea set, but that is my kinda cup...lol..
Oh, you were a bad girl when you were young, I loved to sleep on the porch when it was hot, but the roof, no thanks with my luck I'd rolled off...lol..
Hope you have a great day.

Well I love your "reveal", but what is that secret one?...I'll get it out of you when I see you ha ha
About the Biltmore. Jeanne, I can't give you an exact date just yet. It should take 3 to 4 days to get to you if we leave on the 14th.
Then we have to be in GA. to see CC and Teresa for a night or two. So the 20th in St. Augustine will be perfect. You can also come to GA. with us. CC has two bedrooms, then we can drive together to St. Augustine. It's only 350 miles from there.
How does that sound?
The only thing I think about Jeanne is spending a whole day at the Biltmore. I really wanted to look around your pretty town.
I'll keep you posted. I promise.
Love You and only 12 sleeps before I'm on the road.
Love Claudie

Hi Jeanne!!
Oh my you DID shock ME! You slept on the roof...the car with no brakes..Nascar ski racing...wow. It sounds like you and your brothers and sisters had a great time together. How fortunate you are to have a large family like that. Oh dear. I wonder where you were in the line as far as age and who instigated things around your place. How fun but your poor parents..*hugs*
So sweet that you have a card for Sally...yes she is in my thoughts also.
I love that tea set and you are right they normally have little cups in the sets because of the smaller teapot size. Very pretty.
Thank you for sharing and you have just a fabulous week....and behave yourself!! *hugs*

Lovely tea set, Jeanne... Although it is curious how the cups are so big in proportion to what quantity liquid the pot can hold! Congrats on your award--and such fun to learn these things about you! :o) Happy Week ((HUGS))

The teapot and cups are a great find Jeanne--I agree the cups are really big compared to the teapot itself, but very pretty. I loved reading all the neat things about you. How cool that you won a medal for skiing! I think it's great that you and your sister slept out on the porch roof--classic thing for a kid to do!
