The photos in this post will have a bit of blue, so I hope this will work for our blue today. Sally is our host and she has the last word. My first question is for Sally. Does the blue work for you? Smile! Please visit Sally at, Smiling Sally, for lots of blue.
I am entering a photography contest with the 'Senior Games' and I can't choose which of the three photos to enter. Here they are.
Your opinion will be appreciated.

Show off your cottage Monday is hosted by Cielo at. The House in the Roses. Please visit Cielo's blog to see the cottages that we love to share.
This week I am sharing the rest of my great room paint job. The fireplace wall is painted bronze so I chose a contrast of gold #3, Laura Ashley, for the great room walls. I think it warms up the room. The before was an antique white.
The bronze color is carried into the dining area. You can see the contrast in this photo.
Happy Blue Monday and Show off your Cottage Monday
Love, Jeanne
Good morning, dear friend. You already know my vote on the photo, and all of then are spectacular.
Your room looks so pretty. I love seeing your things that are long dear to my heart. But, I must tell you the thought of the two of you on ladders hanging that quilt makes me queasy. The dogwood blooms on the mantel are stunning.

Jeanne, Your home is FABULOUS! Wow, Wow, Wow! Also love your pictures and my favorite for the contest would be Yellowstone Falls. It is truly an exquisite shot, Jeanne. This is a great post; I really enjoyed it.

Love the colors you chose to paint! That is some tall ceiling there!!
I vote for Yellowstone Falls....though all of the pictures are beautiful. Are the tulips from the trip we shared there? Kent and I went back this week to see them again. They have a new section opened near the winery called Antler Hill Village. It is lovely and has a new restaurant called Cedric's Tavern. We hope to try it out soon.
Hugs,
Penny

All your photos are beautiful! If I had to choose, which would be hard, I think that I would choose the water fall photo. The falls are amazing but the green pine/conifer trees near the edge of the photo really stand out and make for a wonderful picture. You have an excellent eye!
Also, your walls and mantle are so pretty.
Have a wonderful day.

Dear Sis
I love the tulips but the falls is stunning also, my thought is to enter all three but I might be prejudiced. Carmen

Here Come DeJudge!!! Yellowstone Falls!!! Perfect composition of balance, natures glorious color and drama! Could say the same for the Tuplips with the fading perspective with the unexpected capturing of the water pond. All three are stunning...you are really good with your 'Brownie'.
Jeanne, your home is so beautiful, warm and inviting with the mix of antiques and contemporary decor. What a dramatic fireplace. Lovely quilt hanging above and the mantle is spectacular. The whole thing should be a spread in Better Homes.
Thanks for your continued prayers for Stacy...he is improving slowly and I'm back home for awhile as Mama has had some R&R and ready to go again...Sue

Bronze and gold---rich and luxurious---what a perfect combination for those high ceilings and the lovely arrangements.
I'd SO love to see a closer view of the arrangement of five pictures (is it needlework?) in the great room over the credenza with the clock. You know how I love those graceful scenes.
Lovely peek into your home---very welcoming.

Jeanne, I have been reading your blog for just about a year now. I love the way you decorate. Your home is very lovely, I love the colors you chose for your great room, you're right it does add warmth to the room. Now, for the picture that I would choose, is the Yellowstone Falls.

The bronze and gold are gorgeous in your beautiful home. It makes that HUGE room look so warm and inviting. Gosh, I LOVE all three pictures. That waterfall is sure catching my attention though....it looks like a beautiful painting! Hope you are having a great Monday.♥

I have to vote for the Grand Tetons Jeanne, one of my favorite places in the country.
Loved the tour of your home. I think the paint color is great and that quilt up high above the fireplace looks wonderful!
Have a great week Jeanne!

Jeanne I have a soft spot for Yellowstone Falls, followed by the grand Tetons! I want to go back to both parks so much -- I really feel in love with that area!
Your home is so lovely! The blue and cream wall colors are so beautiful and your fireplace is gorgeous!

If I am not too late to vote, my vote would be #2. I got an immediate feeling of peace when I looked at it and I like the way the shot was composed. I also think #3 is spectacular. They are both amazing!! Your house is looking good. love the bronzy-gold color.
