Blue Monday and Show Off Your Cottage Monday is one post today. Thank you Sally at, Smiling Sally for hosting 'Blue Monday.' Thank you Cielo at, The House in the Roses for hosting 'Show off your Cottage Monday. ' Please be sure and visit both blogs to enjoy the color blue and lots of lovely cottage decor.
The blue is my daughter's home in my grandson's bedroom. It is decorated and painted to look like the sea. My son-in-law is the artist who decorated and painted this delightful bedroom. Needless to say my grandson loves his bedroom and so does everyone who sees it.
Before I share the bedroom photos I want to answer a question asked on my Friday post. It was about my other grandson's poetry. He wrote several but this was the one that had a special meaning.
CALEB'S POEM
Personification
in
Nature
She
wraps herself
tight trying to keep the wind away.
The
next day she
tears through her sheets and wakes up in a beautiful dress.
She is free!
Can you guess the meaning of this poem?
Some of you said the answer is 'spring'. that was my answer too.
The answer is a butterfly.
I want to thank my dear blogging friends who left the kindest comments on Caleb's birthday. He was so happy that so many visited and wished him a happy birthday.
Caleb had his recital and played beautifully. We are in the process of getting ready to post it so we can hear him play. It will be a few days.

LOGAN'S ROOM UNDER THE SEA
These fish hang from the ceiling. The background is painted
Logan's poodle JoJo and CC are on the bed.
The sea painting is the whole wall on the left side of his room.
My daughter and I made the curtain. It matches so well.
We can't forget the light switch.
This under sea diving head gear is a lamp.
He wanted me to show his prized collection of creatures.
Thank you for your visits today.
Enjoy your day.
Love, Jeanne

Great room Logan. It's even more awesome in person. Logan's dad, Robert, has a special talent. I hope you have a great day Logan.
Caleb's recital was awesome. I believe he had his best recital ever. He received several compliments about how much he improved this year. We are so proud of his hard work.
Love ya mom,

Hi Jeanne! Oh, thanks for the explanation on your grandson's poem. Oh, and the room is adorable! I can just imagine this would be every little boys dream room. And look at the doggies all chilled out in the sea! :) CC is adorable.
Are you coming to my party on Friday?
I hope you will.
Be a sweetie,

Logan's room is FABULOUS! I LOVE the sea theme! But, the two poodles on the bed really make the room.....LOL!
Also, I had no idea of the meaning of Caleb's poem and to be a butterfly is just perfect. I re-read that poem and that is just truly FABULOUS! LOVE it.
Hope you are having a wonderful day today. I'm so ready for a get-away with all of the end of school year craziness going on!

That's an amazing room - does Logan plan a career in something nautical by chance?
Looking forward to hearing Caleb play at his recital.
Jeanne, just posted some pics of Vanessa and her mom who was visiting from Brazil the past couple of weeks - a delightful lady, just as is sweet Vanessa. Come see us when I get back from Africa (leave a week from Wed. 5/12).
