Please visit Sally at, Smiling Sally, our host for Blue Monday. Thank you Sally for the opportunity to share our blue.
MAY WE ALWAYS REMEMBER AMERICAN SOLDIERS ON MEMORIAL DAY...WE HONOR THOSE WHO HAVE DIED PROTECTING OUR COUNTRY IN ANY WAR .
Red Poppies are recognized as the
Memorial Day flower.
We cherish too the poppy red
That grows on fields where valor led,
It seems to signal to the skies
The blood of heroes never dies.
IN LOVING MEMORY
JEANNE

Beautiful post Jeanne. Love the vintage postcard. At the National War War II Memorial here in our city, there is a glass floor to walk across thats over the orange poppies. One for everyone who died in WWII. Its well worth the visit. Happy Holiday to you and yours.

What a beautiful blog you have and this Memorial Day post is just lovely. I really came for Pink Saturday but I'm late getting to all the girls blogs there are so many now. Your photo looked so familiar to me much like a friend I loved in CA.
Take Care and come visit me.
