Whoa!! What do you MEAN . . . "rabbit resistant" ? Surely you are not trying to keep THE STONE RABBIT'S buddies out of your yard!! :(
Seriously, TSR told me that he understands that some of his "more aggressive" bunny buddies love to nibble on a garden attraction now and then....so he forgives you for trying to find plants that are less than exciting to his off-breed!!
He is, however, very happy to find out that the "hummers" find that plant to be enticing! :)
Happy PS.....and are you READY for The Week of the Grands? L, dana

Oh So Lovely! And I have some experience with digging in red clay, so there is much sympathy for you. And your fingernails, since red clay is often so acidic it can eat the top layer of your nails!
Happy pink Saturday :)

I love the pink flowers, Jeanne! They are gorgeous and a perfect border for your bed there.
Have fun with the grands! I know you will have sorts of pictures for us and that you will have stories galore to tell. While I don't envy cooking for 14, I do envy the fun and laughs. When we were young, we lived to go to my aunt and uncle's lake house, and we had five kids (cousins) who just had a blast together... well, expect for my prissy sister. ;-)
Love you much...
XO,
Sheila :-)

Jeanne, I don't think I have seen flowers like these, they are beautiful. I can not wait to see the finished result, I love gardening too, just when it gets so hot, I tend to let that go.....but this is inspiring for me to get out and dig around in the dirt, I am wondering if I can find those locally here? This will be lovely when you are done!

Those are beautiful and I can't wait to see the finished planting. They sound like they are pretty easy to grow and I love that they attract hummingbirds and butterflies. Do you know we haven't even seen a hummingbird this year. That makes me so sad because I LOVE watching them.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend. It was ALREADY HOT when I woke up this morning and went out to water. I bet it is going to be a scorcher! Yesterday, we had a heat index of 107 !!!!!!!

What a beautiful creative space! I love these flowers. They look so beautiful but apparently are very hardy id they can detract bunnies! My friend Lyn says those bunnies are cute until you find them eating the heads of the sprinkler system! Not so cute!
I think you should have received or well get your petal plates Monday. I am sorry for the delay. I am still wavering with this Vertigo and now my MIL is not doing well and we are going home tomorrow for the day. It is a long trip for a short visit but she is asking for my husband!
Please prayer.
HPS sweet Jeanne! Hugs Anne

Hi Jeanne,
Your garden looks wonderful. I believe that a room doesn't make for creative inspiration. But that we create wherever we find that inspiration. Frankly when I am in my art room, All that I want to do is clean it and organize things, it actually drains my creativity. But aaaah If I go outside in my garden, or grab my project stash and sit at my kitchen table I am inspired.
Happy Pink Saturday.

Hi Jeanne!
Hapy Pink Saturday! I like your very pretty flowers that have such a sophisticated name! Do you believe we even see bunnies here in the city at times? They are certainly hardy!

Happy Pink Saturday Jeanne! I'm a newbie to PS and trying to visit all you lovely ladies who participate. I think you should have linked up to Where BLOGGERS Create because bloggers represent all sorts of life-styles...not just ones that require create studios. Like you who garden and all those cooks and ladies who collect vintage pink treasures. It's about celebrating blogs I think first and we need to show everyone that the can blog about their interests no matter where they choose to blog from...right now my niece is at the public library because her internet connection has been out all weekend. Hope you have a wonderful week and I've added your blog to my google reader so I can read all your posts. Fondly, Roberta

Hello Jeanne,
I think it's one of the beauty of being creative - creativity. What surrounds us can all be sorts of source of inspiration that sometimes we just pick from there and create, create, create :-)
I don't think I am ever blessed with a green thumb, but everytime I see gardens or even just flowers on puts that bloom so beautifully, I just have to sigh and admire. It's hard not to LOL Digging in that kind of soil must be tough! And those flowers will be very lucky cause they will be taken cared of.
They look interesting and beautiful. I can already picture them in my mind, planted there :-)
I'm also here to thank you. Thank you for the prayer and hugs, and sweet message you have left me. I know it has been quite a while but I just came back from blogging (yes, I am hoping I'm back :-) ) It gave me such a warm feeling to have read it (everyone of you who I am blessed to have met here). Thank you Jeanne!
Mizpah,
Li
