Thank you Diane at, A Picture is Worth 1000 words, for hosting a great way to share our thrifty finds.
Thank you Linda at, Coastal Charm, for hosting your Nifty Thrifty Tuesdays meme as well.
Pleas visit Diane's and Linda's blogs for some great fun with bargain hunting treasures.
My sister is an antique dealer. She is always on the hunt to find some vintage bargains to buy and then sell.
I am sharing a couple of her latest bargains today.
Doesn't he look adorable?
He needed some pressing and spiffing up before he could be sold.
He was worth the effort.
Did you guess this is the wolf in grandma's clothing in 'Little Red Riding Hood'
This wolf is really old.
A great find and pretty rough.
This is sold as is. It would be wrong to change a thing on this wonderful old toy.
I hope you enjoyed a glimpse of the old toys.
Keep on thrifting.
Love, Jeanne
Hi Jeanne.
I am glad you missed me. LOL. Just kidding.:))) and thank you for your comment.Love the wolf.
We are moving house next week Tuesday so I am so busy. We thankfully sold our house almost three weeks ago and these people want to move in fast. We did have a new house already but still a lot had to be done before moving in. So that';s why I am not participating in all memes now. I am sure you understand. :)))
After our last move 10 years ago we said never again bur here we gi again. This time our children wanted us to come live nearer to them also for the grandchildren so we did .It took longer than we thought due to the crisis times but we are the lucky ones now,
As soon as we have moved and my computer is working again I of course am going to blog more again.
Hugs from Riet

OK. . . so I'm thinking I'll come over to your blog and see a thrifty Goodwill or g.sale find. . . maybe a table or a rug, even a vase. Nope, I'm seeing a mokey and a wolf!!! AND I LOVE THEM!!!! Of course, you know I'm all about creating little fabricy dolls and things, so these two items really touched my heart!! I've always been a sock money fan. . . they're hard to find, around here, at a decent price for resale ( I had one at our tag sale last fall. . . it promptly flew out). That great old wolf from Red Riding Hood is wonderful. It's so terrific that folks see the value of lovingly created handmade treasures!!!
Gotta hit it. . . our sale is next Thurs, Fri, and Sat. I'm in charge of getting the mailers out TODAY!!!
Take care.....love to Cheri' from Twiggy and Frankie!

Really cute sock monkey and wolf. I made a sock monkey for my granddaughter and she never plays with it. She's only 3 so maybe as she gets older. I love to thrift shop- you never know what you'll find. Have a great day.

These are cute, Jeanne. My mom made the monkeys for my kids. I am wondering now where they are...hmmm

Morning Dear Jeanne! What cute little babies! Oh, the olden big bad wolf in grandma's clothes is precious! I love the tiny little blue heels on the feet! :)
Hope you're having a great week.
Be a sweetie,

I love the old handmade toys, especially the stuffed ones which bear testament to lots of hugs! Even the Wolf/Grandma looks as if there have been great times of cuddling and hugging.
And a wolf in pumps!! THAT'S something you don't see every day.
Have a GREAT Tuesday, my Friend!

Well, looks like your sister found some pretty wonderful antiques in the Sock Monkey and the Wolf! Sock Monkey's are timeless and classic...I bought Baby Bubba one for his first birthday. I was always kind scared of the that bad ol wolf in Little Red Riding Hood. I made sure my brother wore his pistols when we read that story together as kids. He was a pretty good shot!
