Sally at, Smiling Sally, is our host for Blue Monday. Be sure and visit Sally's blog for some BLUE fun.
Summer is done but we don't like to let go so easy. I was scrolling down some of my summer photos and found these...
AREN'T YOU HUNGRY?
Do you want some ice cream yet?
Having summer fun in the Smokey Mountain National Park at Cades Cove.
My grands and my son and daughter loving it!!!
I had ice cream too but no one took MY picture.
Happy Blue Monday
Love, Jeanne
They all look like they're having so much fun. I would be hiding behind a tree rather than have my picture taken while scarfing down an ice cream cone.

Happy Blue Monday, dear friend. I sure miss you. It's been a very long time.
Those are some cutie grands you have. And, the ice cream is too tempting.

Now that does look like summertime fun! I loved looking and the pictures you took while antiquing! I have some dishes just like the pink rimmed ones, for my mosaic making..
Hugs,

How in the world does one get so many ice cream cones in a forest? LOL Was Yogi Bear there? He loved picnics and ice cream .lol
Hope you and Bill had a great weekend. Riley was over, and helped fix Colt's colt (car) and put up our winter boards for the porch and carry many pellet bags to the basement for our pellet stove. It's that time already. I bought him a bunch of grocery's (I was feeling bad that he wasn't eating like he usually does living with my sis before) I drove him back into Ottawa around 8PM. He's doing OK really, enjoying his mechanic job, but he said his boss yells a lot. I told him "see I got you ready for the real world" lol
Randy and Colt are gone to school. They went early. Colt said that swimming at the University pool would be good for his dad... so away they went. I hope it helps. Their class is 3 hours long, and Randy has a hard time sitting that long, so hopefully the swimming will help. I also sent a pillow for his butt lol.
Sunny this morning, lovely fall day, but it's now clouding up and getting cooler. It's a good day to attack the basement, I think. I have to cart all our winter clothes, boots, coats up here, and take all our summer stuff down YUCK!!!! If only all these sleepy dogs could help, it would only take a couple hours!!
I'm a bit of a funk right now with my blogging. I need a change/fix, something.
Julie is moving this Thursday. I wish I was there to help. She can't afford movers, so she's depending on her lazy boys, which probably won't happen. I know she can do it, but she has big pieces to move. She's been anticipating this, and I think it's going to be a good move for her. I miss her. I miss all my friends right now. I wish July was around the corner : (
Love You to the moon and back again

Yes they do look like they enjoying that cool ice cream. We went to Smokey Mountain National Park a few years ago and loved it. We actually saw some bears and cubs while on a hike there.

Ice cream. . . my favorite food!!! Love the photos of your summer memories! You had one jam-packed summer, didn't you? I think the good times are still rolling, too! :)
It seems that I blinked my eyes and summer was here...now it's not. I know I didn't do a lot, but the time flew by anyway! Bonnie and I finished the Tag Sale details yesterday. What a crazy couple of weeks.....it was worth it, however. Now, we have 2 weeks before a sale in Lee's Summit. I will be in my craft cave for the next few days. However, this morning, I will do my last official run/jog of the 9week program (that took me 11 weeks to complete) that took me from the Couch to 5K! :) I "ain't" no runner....but I can keep my old tootsies jogging for 31 min. now!! Sadly, I'm not going 3 mi. in that time, yet. Don't know that I ever will, but it's fun knowing I've improved.
Have a swell day!
Love you! Dana
PS Sharleen from Luticia Clementine's will be "retiring" from her shop soon....she's having a 25% off sale this week. A gal has bought her shop, so it will stay open....it just won't have Sharleen's touch. She made it to our sale.
