These baby Panda's were saved from an earthquake quite some time ago. I have been saving these photos to share with you.
Pandas After The Earthquake
The earthquake was right in the area where giant pandas live.
Most pandas in this area were rescued, particular attention was given to the babies, all the pandas were scared. The photos were taken right after earthquake and during rescue effort care. All the pandas were released back into the wild and it was noted that all of the bears stayed together.

Today is our daughter's birthday.
Happy birthday Christina

Hi Jeanne!
Pandas look so cute don't they? I've seen them in zoos and they are so much larger than I thought they would be. I'm glad the pandas you showed survived that earthquake and had such good care afterward.
Happy birthday to Christina! I hope she has a wonderful celebration!

Happy Birthday, Christina. I love you, too.
And, Happy Wednesday, my dear Jeanne. It is back to work for me today. I am having my coffee, and will be heading out the door soon. It is still dark outside.
I think pandas are magnificent.

Happy Birthday, Christina!!! I hope you have a fun-packed day! Your cake looks delish!
Jeanne, I loved those panda photos. When my hubby and I visited DC a few years ago, one of the hi-lights of the trip for me was going to the National Zoo and seeing the pandas. They were just so beautiful.
I've got so much to do in the next week and a half.....make a ton of stuff for the Oktoberfest Sale, host my hubby's bd gathering, make a second prototype ANNIE dress and fit it on a whining 4 year old, continue working on my running skills :) and slap out a few Halloween decorations!! But today, I have to get to the grocery store....the cupboard is empty!
We're continuing to enjoy wonderful fallish temps.....and no rain. I think we need the rain, but I'm glad we're not getting it. Actually, I hope it turns cold and rainy next weekend when we have our sale....that brings in the shoppers!!
Have a great day!!
Love you, Dana

And a Happy Wednesday to YOU, TOO!!
I hope it's feeling FALL where you are---we've been out in this 70 degree morning, trimming the roses and swishing our feet in the dozen leaves on the ground---no turnings yet.
And a VERY HAPPY DAY to Christina---I hope you and your Mom are going to have a lovely day together, even if it's long distance.
I do love the sweet innocent little faces of pandas---they just LOOK like toys, no matter what size. I hope they find the missing three soon.

I love the picture of Uncle Randy and family. Everyone is growing up so fast including my kids.

Hope your Christina had a lovely birthday--she looks just like you, Pat! :o) I've always been fascinated with panda beads, ever since a little girl they always seemed magical creatures to me. We're just back from our trip... catching our breath, doing laundry & all sorts, and checking in with friends. Happy Weekend ahead, my friend ((HUGS))

Belated happy birthday Christina!
Loved the panda pics - they are cute when young then become those big, slow, lazy adults we see at the zoo!
Jeanne, were you in town? Can't believe I missed you. Looking forward to Asheville, we can catch up there.
