Lucky, lucky me!
I won a giveaway from the Miracle Makeover event.
Roberta at, Con- tain -it. She generously had this lovely dresser set as a giveaway for the above event.
Surprise, I was the winner.
Thank you so much Roberta. As you can see I am loving it!!!
The color of the ribbon is the palest shade of pink. The little girl is my oldest daughter. I love this photo of her. The geraniums are from my hanging plants.
This is what they look like today. I wonder how long they will last, now that fall is approaching.
Happy Pink Saturday
Love, Jeanne
What a great remembrance of this day. 9/11/01. . . the day so many innocent people were murdered. . . the day that changed our country. We have to keep remembering.

Happy Pink Saturday Jeanne Sweetie...
As always a beautiful, beautiful share. I love your tribute today. America has never been the shame. It changed our world dramatically. God Bless the families who lost as they struggle to get through this day.
Oh I am so thrilled you won Jane's giveaway. She is just the sweetest lady ever and I LOVE her Flora Dora's. They are just precious. Her heart is so beautiful. Congratulations for winning the beautiful set.
Now those geraniums of yours, are so gorgeous. I think the heat out here just flat took mine. I have a little green trying to come back, maybe for the Fall. Love the pink.
Hope you have a very blessed Saturday. Many hugs and so much love, Sherry

Some people are just born under a lucky star. I do believe you are one of them. Those are both truly great wins. I wanted the dresser set, but since I did not win, I am glad o know it is in a good home.

Our flag is standing proudly out front, as it always is, and we're going about our usual day with an unaccustomed gravity, I think, just remembering.
I had nothing to write today---I cannot do justice to the memories or the brave spirits we're remembering, and so I linked to Janie's post at Southern Lagniappe---a field of 3000 flags in Vicksburg.

I hope you all a safe, happy weekend, dear Friend.

Hey Jeanne, so glad to see that the dresser set arrived safely...never know with the USPO. I also love the Flora Dora's and have bought several since winning one myself. They make great gift bags ;) Today it is raining here a bit in Raleigh and it seems so appropriate given the day. Have a great week, fondly, Roberta

Thank you Jeanne for remembering and honoring the memory of 9-11. It is a sad day for the United States. God bless America!

Hi Dear Jeanne! Yes, our hearts are heavy today. May this never happen again!

Happy Pink Saturday Jeanne! Your geraniums are so pretty. I did not have any luck with my geraniums this year. The ones we brought with us all look terrible. Oh well...next year!
What a sad day today. I too don't understand the hate behind the attacks. I just want everyone to love each other.
Have a wonderful Sunday.

Hi Jeanne
Congratulations on your winning the giveaway. Lovely gifts....
and the dresser set is so pretty...with the pictures of your little one too.
So sweet.
Your flowers are so pretty too. I really like those black iron holders. I must remember to see about something like that for me next year too.
I hope you've had a great weekend...
*hugs*

Great post! Of course, many of us find it difficult to make the sort of commitment that Timothy does. But that is where Kiva comes in. When pooled with the resources of others you can really change the life of another person.

Happy "way late" Pink Saturday. Your pink geraniums look so pretty. All my plants are really waning...they look awful except for all my pink and white impatiens. They aren't going to look so great with orange pumpkins but I can't bear to pull them out until the frost hits them. Hope you are having a wonderful week. ~ Lynn :)
