The juice set below was my moms and I inherited it when she passed away. It is from Italy and quite old. She loved this juice set and used it often. Rcently my niece was visiting from Hawaii and mentioned that it looked familiar to her. I told her it was her grandmothers and she remembered that grandma used to use it when she visited her. I used it for breakfast that morning and surprised her by wrapping it up and then I gave it to her.
Below I am sharing this breakfast photo again.

I will miss it but at my age it is time to share special treasures by passing them on. My mother would have approved. Smile.
Happy thrifting to all of you. You never know when a treasure like this might show up in a thrift store or a yard sale, or your aunt's breakfast table.
Love, Jeanne
What a wonderful juice set. How lovely that you passed it along...you are so sweet.

That is so sweet Jeanne. I know she will treasure it and when it's time pass it on to her children. We did that when we downsized too and though I miss a few items I can always visit them in their new home. Have a great day.

What a lovely set, Jeanne, and how nice of you to pass it on to someone who loves it, too!!
Hope you're having a great Tues. Bonnie and I were going to make/can Cranberry Chutney today, but her dad was sent to the ER this morning. I'm waiting on news from her about him.
Instead of canning, I cleaned out the flower beds a bit. It's a gorgeous day in KC....tomorrow is predicted to be NASTY! :)
Loved that bowling score from last week.....you're awesome!!

From the title, I was halfway expecting one of the little carafe-with-teensy-glasses things, with maybe big red flowers on the glass. That's what WE had, and that thimbleful of MinuteMaid gave my Mother the confidence that we left the house every day, filled with every single nutrient known to man.
Yours is just lovely, and the flowers reminiscent of Van Gogh's iris. And the best way to enjoy almost anything is to share it.
