Sally at, Smiling Sally, is our host for sharing our blue today. Thank you Sally for bringing us Blue Monday every week. Please visit Sally's blog for lots more blue.
SNOW, SNOW, SNOW
13 degrees and snowed in...
Cheri' is the only reason we go outside!!!
Last Monday I shared a photo of my grandson marching in his school band. For a small town this parade was very impressive and very long. Since he is the reason we were at the parade, I took photos of the best floats to share with you. They were quite impressive. There were bands, dancers, twirlers, karate clubs etc. but I am sharing just the floats. We had a great time enjoying the huge parade put on by a small town that loves their city.
On with the parade in the small town of St. Cloud, Florida
I am starting with my grandson's school band banner. They were actually placed in the center of the parade.
Logan, marching with his band. (center front)
Next photo is my granddaughter Ashley, Logan's sister. She also watched the parade with us. She is over 5'9" and is 16 years old. They both take their studies seriously and have maintained nearly a straight A grade level since kindergarten. (grandma bragging rights) Smile!
On with the floats.
This is only a few of the many floats. For the sake of time the last float was very cute by a vetinary clinc. A person is dressed as a dog getting a bath in an old tub. The soap suds was real. A big hit.
Happy Blue Monday
Love, Jeanne
ooo, what a great parade. I just love 'em.
Those grands are both so so goodlooking. Take after their pretty red haired grandmother!! :)))
Oh, gosh..aren't we so blessed and lucky .

Happy Blue Monday, my dearest friend.
You, as the grandmother, definitely have bragging rights. Ashley and Logan are such great young people - so are all of your grandchildren. They come from great stock. ;-)

Who doesn't love a parade. Those were great pictures and your grandchildren looked like they were having a ball. Happy Blue Monday too.

LOL
I left a comment and clicked off too quickly. I didn't do the verification thingy!
I think the REAL suds/bath might have be a bit chilly.
You certainly have bragging rights with those two: both bright and good looking!
Happy Blue Monday, Jeanne.
(This time I'll slow down and verify!)

I just LOVE a small-town parade!!! And a Christmas one!! This is just the most wonderful sight for this snowed-in Monday morning, though I can't say really marooned here---Christ just did the drive and sidewalks with the blower, and the streets are getting cleared.
And the timing for your celebration was perfect---all marching in the bright sun, in not too many coats, just before that beautiful snowfall you had. There's nothing like the sound of a band approaching, with the flags waving and hearts bright, waiting and watching for YOUR children and Grands to come marching past, making music.
What a lovely time you must have had, and what a lovely family you have. All Bright Blessings,
rachel

Glad you wrote me to go back. Even Cheri looks cold. It would be hard to get any business done (as a dog) with that snow/ice so close to "me wee bottom"....lol...

How did I miss this one? Look at you and CC girl. Do you have your P.J.'s on? lol
Funny seeing you in snow, then the pretty parade. Why does St. Cloud ring a bell? Did someone blog about that little town recently? i'm loosing it tonight. Must be all that cooking Randy's been doing. Jeanne you have no idea what he's been up to. YUMMY. I blogged about it, but nothing was working right. I'm seriously thinking of trying blogspot. Julie's going to walk me through it during the holidays. Anyway, I will send you an email with pics of the food he's been making. But tonight I must say I died and went to heaven. I LOVE good bread, and Randy made not one, but two loaves of FRENCH crusty bread. OMG the house smelled so darn good. I really think he's trying to fatten me up, I know it.
I'm going to your last post now.
