Please visit Spiritual Sunday for more blessings. Thank you Charlotte and Ginger for hosting this special event each Sunday.
This Flag is hanging right off my deck. This morning I woke up to a winterland and my flag gave me inspiration to write this post.
My JOY is in the Lord and the following photos fill my heart with the joy of a white and pure Sunday morning.
This nativity is on our deck. My MIL painted this several years ago. We are blessed to have this precious nativity for a lovely Christmas memory.
Our front yard.
It is still snowing and our small church cancelled service today.
Here in the mountains snow is a huge problem on winding mountain roads.
Can you see our driveway?
Back door view.
May you have JOY, LOVE and BLESSINGS every day but, especially today.
Love, Jeanne
What a beautiful scripture Jeanne. It is such a gift that Christ has given to us that we have eyes to see Him all around us. We are so blessed to always be reminded of how great He is.
Blessings, Karen

What a touching post, Jeanne. Yes, there is Joy in this season and all seasons....but especially this one. Your nativity figures are truly a treasure!!
I wanted to play hooky from church today....it's so bitterly cold and I need the "time" to decorate, etc. However, I knew I needed to there...and it's across the street, so no excuse for me. Anyway the priest spoke of "patience" and how we need to have it....I think he was looking right a me a couple of times! :) These days, my patience is worn thin.....I needed the gentle reminder!
Love your snowy view.....and I'm glad it's at your house and not mine! :) We did get a little of the white stuff last night, but that wasn't the issue. Our temps are terrible....just 19 right now!
Have a relaxing and cozy Sunday in your Snowbound home!

No, I cannot see your driveway - I am assuming that there is really one there and that this is not a trick question. A little snow is beautiful, but I hope you do not get dangerous amounts. We had a few flurries, really small, and no accumulation. The flag reminds me of one of the prints of a cardinal with snow on his head. Your yard looks so pretty with its covering of snow - enjoy it, but stay warm.

Jeanne, this is such a wonderful post. We are so blessed to have joy in our lives. It is a constant gift from God. We just have to remember to count all of the ways in which we are blessed.
Stay safe in the snow. Love to you.♥
