A FIVE DOLLAR TREASURE
Yes, that's right. A mere five dollars at the auction. Made in germany and vintage. Thirteen pieces of a sweet nativity. The following photo shows the detail of theses pieces in the baby Jesus.
I love this thrifty bargain sooooo much.
Keep on thrifting and finding 2nd time around treasures.
Love, Jeanne
'morning, Jeanne..
brrr...it's cold here this morning and we had our first real snow last night. It barely covers the ground and will be gone in a couple of hours.
What a pretty set you have here. And the price sure was right. :) You will love putting it out next Christmas.
Stay warm, sister friend.
xoxo bj

Hi Jeanne,
It is hard to believe that anyone would sell this! I love it, and so glad that you found it and bought it.
Thanks so much for linking to 2nd Time Around!
It's cold and rainy here....but I need to get up and get going!

I just love that nativity scene and what a price. We don't go to any auctions but I bet they would be fun. That is if I didn't get caught up in the excitement. Have a great day.

I love a little Nativity set sitting around somewhere all during the year---timeless and placeless, somehow, just forever.
Yours is precious, and I know it's found a good home.

What a steal!!! You get the BEST STUFF at auctions and thrifting!!! :)
LOVE the moose story on the previous post, too!!
We had a warmish day....and some snow melted!!! It's supposed to be colder tomorrow, with a few flurries, followed by 40 degree temps on Thurs! AHHHHH----Missouri weather is seldom dull! :)
Spent the last two days running errands and checking stuff off my "to do" list. I have to have my car at the dealership tomorrow for some repairs. It will probably take a couple of days...that means staying put and working on LOTS of paper piles!
Have a great Wednesday!! L, Dana

That was a steal girlfriend! Don't you just love it when you get great deals? Can't wait for spring time that is when most of the Auction Sales are around here. Have a great week, Vicky
