Thank you Sally for our Blue Monday fun.
You should know by now that I have family and friends that constantly send me Emails about many things. They know I have a blog and sometimes I find one of theses Emails that I can't resist sharing with you. If you have already seen one of the Emails I share, please forgive me for repeating one.
A few years ago we were out West and happened to see a brand new baby moose with his mother in Colorado. The following story really made me realize how this could happen. The baby went into the creek near his mother and he almost drowned before she coaxed him out of the water. He was so exhausted by his escape from drowning that he collasped. He finally got up and started nursing and we just cheered.
This story has a different ending and I wonder what happened to his mother.

THIS STORY THAT WILL MAKE YOU SMILE
You don’t see a baby moose every day. A baby moose was in distress in a creek. A man got him out of the creek; tried to find the mother and send him on his way, but eventually the moose stumbled back into the creek and was rescued again.
The baby moose followed the man home. The man has only a small cabin so he took the moose to another neighbor, who took these photos. They took the moose the next day to a woman who looks after wild animals and she put it in a pen with a rescued fawn.
NOW THE FUN BEGINS
NOW FOR A BIG COLLECTIVE AAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWW.
I cant help wondering what happened to the mama moose.
Happy Blue Monday
Love,
JEANNE

Yes no doubt everyone involved would wonder what happened to the mother, and how the little moose is progressing.

In some states the man would be arrested for taking the animal in...I know that is insane, but it happens. I do hope that the animal has a long and healthy life. I am very torn over the issue about caring for them and releasing back into the wild. i think they have a friend for life...which for me, would not be a bad thing :) He is so cute! LOL
