Those cookies just about blew me away. I have never seen them before, However, I have not been looking for them. I am sure your Bill as well as millions of others would enjoy even the skimpest bite.

Please tell me they cut out heart-shapes and cut off the tips!! Surely there's not a hiney-shaped cooker cutter in ANY bakery!!
We're getting more snow this p.m. I hear, and the 30+ temps had just got rid of all the drifts in the back yard. Yours is unusual and interesting and beautiful, and a good excuse to just cozy up and look out the windows.
Life goes on, up here, as if it's sunny and bright.

I think Randy would like those cookies too : )
I would call these "fancy pants" lol
Glad your home safe Jeanne. Poor Caralie though : (
Our snow has pretty much stopped for now. I would like it to just go away, so we can leave with no hassles. Having Colt here alone with all the dogs should be interesting. First time ever leaving for 7 days.
Can't wait to see the pictures of the wedding. It sounds very heart warming for sure.
Randy cooked up a storm again last night. We had our friends Karen and Neil over. She's the one Julie and I stayed with in Miami remember? They are also leaving on the 18th, so we just had to get together. Randy cooked up orange chicken, oriental salad with snap peas, sprouts and cooked shrimp, garlic rice and a pie. All I did was sit back and drink some nice wine Karen brought me. LOL. Aren't I bad? Colt is now making French baguette bread in the morning. He loves it. I told them to stop it now, because I will never get into my cute little dress for the wedding.
I have so much to do. Thank God I bought a new suitcase. One for me and one for Randy. Remember I travelled to see you with all those Rubbermaids? They don't take those on the plane LOL.
Love you dear Jeanne, but are you sure your only coming for 4 days? Or 1 day to get here, 4 days here, and 1 day to get home.
I will look into the air line that comes into Ottawa ok? Just looked. US Airways flies here, Air Canada, I would try priceline. Timing is going to be tricky. Remember rush hour traffic during the week starts here around 7 am and goes till 9 am. I think a Sat or Sun would be best to travel. It's going to be interesting to see how many times I have to run to the airport. I best make an announcement on that one. Might be easier to pick everyone up in Mtl. all at once, and just stay there over night. Oh now you got me thinking again.

Do you think "Bakerella" featured that cookie idea on her blog at one time? She's always sharing new and fun ways to reuse items on hand....like heart shaped cookie cutters! :) Loved it.
We started getting snow last night....and it's still coming down. We only got about 6-8 inches where we are....that's enough. I hope it stops realllllllly soon!
Stay snuggy warm. L, Dana
