Thank you Sally for our Blue Monday fun.
Blue Monday is a day I look forward too each week. I was thinking about what to post and when my cousin Marilyn was showing me her cute sayings she uses when she makes her cards, I got inspired. She helped me make this card to share with you today. She hand colored the teacups for me and used her many art supplies to make this card. I will do a post later on her 'fabulous' art talent in making cards.
Marilyn, her hubs Jerry and me holding Cheri'
We are on our deck. March is still winter in the mountains.
Then I decided to make a cup of tea to go with the card. I do enjoy a cup of hot tea. Blue Monday is a great way to share our love of the color blue.
Chamomile is my favorite tea in the evening. It has a calming effect.
The cup and saucer is one of my thrifty finds. Theses days we need to be thrifty.
Another one of Marilyn's cute sayings. We made this card too. This one really made me chuckle.
This photo is from Google.
We women must be strong in our love of family, friends and most of all our faith.
Happy Blue Monday.
Love,
JEANNE

Chamomile is your late nite drink? We will surely have some out for you in August!
So about Blue.
Blue is the color of the sea, and the sky and sometimes of pretty little eyes. There are jellybeans at Easter and bluebells in the summer. I wonder why people say I felt so Blue when it is such a pretty color? I guess because if you are out of air you turn blue. That must be it. I can't imagine feeling that blue actually. I think my neighbors dogs name is Blue and ya know - he is a white boxer with brillint blue eyes. It's the first thing you notice when you see him.
Thank the rainbow for blue. Its just such a necessary color. Love ya Jeanne girl. Boy are we gonna have fun.

I love Mariiyn's cards.....and your yummy looking cup of tea....and that great photo of you all!!!
Hope all is well......I've got to work on putting my pile of craft show supplies, display pieces, etc. away.....it's all stacked in the garage right this minute.
Have a great day.

I wonder if Julie ever turned blue because she ran out of air.. I'll have to watch her face this summer LOL. She's so funny isn't she?
Standing on the porch in March here would be in a snow storm. Little Cheri' OMG. Can't wait to see her again.
Happy Blue Monday.. I have the house to myself today, well me and the pups anyway.
Just chattted with Teresa on the phone. She's such a doll. Love her to pieces too. Wish I was closer to her. A nice cup of tea in a pretty blue cup would be nice on the porch right about now.
I'm listening to Louis Armstrong signing "What a wonderful world"...

Hi Jeanne
Beautiful cards. I love the sayings on them and they are right on about the women ones..*s*...made me chuckle. I love tea in the afternoons too...coffee in the morning to wake me up and get me on my way and tea in the afternoon for a comforting quiet time..*s*..
Nice picture of your friends and you....
We are expecting some much nicer weather this week. It might actually get up to 50F! How exciting that is...though we will wait to find out.
I'll wait to see how your daughter does those cards.
have a good week.
