Good morning my Blue Monday friends.
BABY QUILTS FOR JAPAN
Our church is making baby quilts to send to Japan. Last Monday morning we met at our church to start our very worthy project. By now we have several made and we meet again this morning. Everyone is donatong fabric if they can as well as batting etc.
I finished the one I am sharing today. Surprise, I picked blue. Actually our leader picked this fabric and I tied and did the binding. We have others to send but I am just sharing the one I finished because the rest were finished by the other ladies of our church and I haven't seen them finished yet. This morning when we meet to do more I will take photos of the ones that are finished.
The quilt is very pretty, Jeanne....Christine

Hi, Jeanne! LOVE this sweet quilt you've made--bless you! I just listed a few items in my new shop hoping to help raise funds for Japan. So man crafts people are on the roll helping--it is wonderful! Thanks so much for your lovely comment at my place--great to see you. :o) I have pain due to tendonitis from basically too much computer time & crafting, so have been scaling back my online time. I try to post at my blog twice as week if I can. It's tough though as I have so many lovely friends in blogland, like yourself, and don't always get round to everyone each week... LOL! But we do our best, don't we? ;o) So good to catch up with you here... Happy Days ((LOVE & HUGS))

Jeanne, that is just an awesome quilt and such a wonderful project your church group is doing. I know your quilts will be deeply appreciated by the Japanese parents and their little ones. Thank you for sharing this and I'm looking forward to seeing some of the other quilts your group created.
Hope you're having a great day....it's cold today. It snowed last night..and may tomorrow. That keeps my running shoes parked in the house. I don't trot around in snow and cold. That's OK...I hurt my back some how....and it needs to rest. I'm resting it by getting my tax stuff together. I'm such a procrastinator! :)
