EASTER DECORATIONS THAT HAVE BEEN IN A BOX FOR SIX YEARS
Tht's right, we finally brought the Easter box down from the attic. When we packed to move to NC we stored this box in storage for two years while we lived in our RV waiting for Bill to retire. Our home sold very fast and we were lucky to be able to have the RV to have a place to stay. During that time our new home was under construction in NC. When we moved here the Easter box was put in the attic not to be touched for four more years.
I have had so much fun seeing my little Easter treasures at last and finding a place to show them off. Honestly, I don't have that much but I hope you enjoy them as much as I am.
First I saved this photo from Google to get you in the Easter mood.
These tulips are to die for!!!
My Easter bunny family on my country kitchen table
I am desperately looking for just the right runner that will fit a nine foot table.
Not out there is it? I guess I will be making one. What color should I use? Did you say PINK???
Note: I will share the buffet table another week. Just a bit of a preview for now.
This Easter bunny mama has five children, just like me.
The eggs were hand made with crochet yarn wrapped around the egg. Labor intensive and they were given to lucky me. I bought the bunnies to hang on an Easter tree ( that is missing). My hubs couldn't find it. You do know that doesn't mean it isn't up in the attic somewhere. HA!
Next a handmade basket out of fabric with crocheted eggs. This too was a gift from my cousin.
I love my cousins!!!
This is displayed on my hutch. More of that another time..
I dearly love this basket and I have really missed these treasures so much. (I didn't know how much, until I saw them after six years) HA!
How soon we forget huh?
Now for my true treasures in life.
My grandchildren in my sister's arbor during grandkid's week two summers ago.
They had fun with the name hats we bought them to wear.
2009
My oldest grandson's are missing. Next photo see how much they have grown.
2011
My oldest grandson's wedding. He is on the far right.
Thank you Ashley for wearing a sweet pink dress. Smile!
These photos have nothing to do with Easter.
This is called Grandma's bragging rights when I have a captvated audience.
Happy Pink Saturday
Love,
JEANNE

Happy Pink Saturday, well I know it's only Friday (man do you girls have a timer set for 5:00?, lol)
It's CC's birthday tomorrow. You know she's one of our Summer Breeze girls, so please come and wish her a happy birthday Jeanne. I know you will ; )
See what happens when you have a BIG HOUSE? Six yrs? WOW. Now you don't have to go shopping haha. LOVE your grands Jeanne. They are just beautiful. Real treasures.
Well it's pretty cold out today. Snow left on the ground, wind is blowing, but the sky is blue. I haven't been sleeping... stupid sleeping pills aren't working anymore. So off to the doc. again. There must be a miracle pill I can take, or I'll just get Randy to knock my socks off around midnight, lol.
Spoke to Julie last night. All is well as well can be.
I adore your Easter table. I've been ready for Easter for over 2 weeks now. I know I'm early.
Enjoy your weekend sweet friend. Hi to Bill and CC girl.

Hi Jeanne, Isn't it fun to find a box of treasures after a long time. Those eggs are beautiful and go so nicely with the little bunnies. Also the basket is beautiful. But as a grandmother, myself (I have 5 ranging from 2 to almost 9 in July, I must say the greatest treasure our your beautiful grandchildren. How blessed you are my dear friend. This is the one BIG reason I stay in Florida, my children/grandchildren are here. They were susposed to go to college in the NE and live near their grandparents, but they graduated from Florida universities, met men who LOVE LOVE LOVE Florida and started their families in FLORIDA. So, while my heart longs for the country, seasons, etc, the other part of my heart does not want to leave my little grandchildren at this time. Blessings.

I love all your Easter treasures especially the last two pictures. They sure do grow fast, don't they.

All your worldly treasure are nice, but nothing can replace the grandchildren. They are a great looking group. You have every right to show them off. You know me, I feature my great grandson all the time on Blue Monday. Blue is his favorite color is why I use that day. Enjoyed your Easter treasures, but most of all seeing the family.

I LOVE the photos of your sweet grandbabies...and you absolutely have bragging rights!!! The hats are a great idea!
Was it more fun sending your hubby to the attic....or opening the boxes of Easter treasures? ;) Yep, I do know that there is probably a tree still up there....maybe another trip for Bill, huh? :)
I shopped til pretty late this evening....my dogs are BARKING!!! I may not get to go to the flea market with Bonnie and Marian after all, but I will meet up with them later. I have to take my hubby some place.....last minute glitch....never fails.

Somewhere in my storage I have a hand made Easter basket filled with crocheted eggs. I would love to find more of those eggs. My late aunt Ang made that for me and her hands were crippled with arthritis. It is such a treasure.
Jeanne you are such a doll! I love knowing you and your family is beautiful1 Your Easter display is precious. I am a chick and bunny girl! I love Easter! My husband use to tell our kids when they were small anyone can be born but only Christ lived and died and rose again!

Brag away! What an accomplishment, to have all these beautiful grandchildren. You are good to share about them, and brag about them. They are better for it, and it is fun for us to see them. Thanks for sharing.

I enjoyed seeing the photos of the grandkids...CAUSE I AM A GRANDMA TOO....and we do have Grandma Rights to show as many pictures as we want. Nothing makes me smile more then my grandkids...and kids.
How I would love to walk through a field of tulips. I love the spring flowers. We are still engulfed in snow, so not one bit of spring anywhere. All my easter decorations are out in the riding arena, and I can't muster up the desire to even put them out yet.
but I sure ENJOYED seeing yours. Thanks.
