A very happy hello to all of you Pinkies out there in blogland. Beverly is our wonderful hostess and she is the reason we have so much fun on Pink Saturday. Be sure and visit the wonderful pink posts that we all share on this Pink day. She would love to see a comment from you.
Do you remember when I posted about making baby blankets for Japan's babies who suffered from a terrible earthquake?
The Woman's Group in our small church have made it an ongoing project. We are continuing to make precious blanket quilts for prescious babies in need everywhere. We meet on Monday mornings when possible and this is what we have done recently.
This is Jean, she is the leader of this project and plans and organizes our baby quilt project.
We coudn't do it without her.
Thank you so much for your dedication and love for those in need.
My sister Carmen in red and other giving souls busy making quilts.
This cute quilt is pinned and ready to tie.
Did you say where is the pink?
Go pink!
Finished and ready to send to some needy babies.
Blessings and love to so many people who have suffered in the recent tornados and those who need a lending hand.
HAPPY PINK SATURDAY
DON'T FORGET NEXT SATURDAY IS "PINK SATURDAY'S" THIRD BIRTHDAY.
Love,
JEANNE
What a wonderful project Jeanne!! The quilts look gorgeous too. Happy Pink Saturday. I hope you have a lovely weekend.

Oh Jeanne that is so beautiful & inspirational. I wish I could be sitting with you ladies helping out with the quilts. Have a wonderful pink Saturday weekend...xo Tami

That is a wonderful thing those ladies are doing. I had a dear friend that was very good working with her hands. She did this for years. Someone from the church came by and picked them up. She was not able to be out much. She passed away just last year very suddenly. Her husband gave all her unfinished quilts to another lady in the group.

hi Jeanne, thanks for stopping by from Beverly's Pink Saturday. Your project for the babies of Japan you and your Church are working on is very inspiring to me as I'm sure to others. The quilts you are making now for all those in need are beautiful. I'll have to show this post to my MIL, she is a quilter and appreciates every little stitch that goes into making one. I'm so happy to meet you Jeanne.
Happy Pink Saturday.

Happy Pinks Jeanne Sweetie...
Oh my gosh, what a beautiful share of love. You ladies are doing the Lord's work
for such small bundles of love. Isn't it wonderful to know that you are angels and
that you work of wings will comfort these babies and wrap them in your love? I love it.
I especially loved the one that appears to have some embroidery blocks (looks like a kitty
with a ball of yarn) and then little hearts surround it. So precious. Actually they all are
but that one jumped out and grabbed me.
Oh Jeanne what a beautiful project to be helping with. I just know it makes your heart feel
wonderful each time you tie another blanket. Another baby swaddled in love.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful post today. I so enjoyed seeing the faces and I could
just hear the chatter and laughter as I browsed the photos you shared. Have a beautiful weekend sweet friend. Many hugs and SO much love, Sherry

Jeanne, I think that quilt project is just the neatest thing around. You and your fellow parishioners do such lovely work for such a needy cause!!!
Ha-ha! I was too quick for ya in the linking, huh? I don't know how it happens. I actually was having trouble with my thumbnail photo....it didn't want to come up the right picture for some weird reason....and I was shocked that mine came up first. Do you have your clock set right on your computer.....it helps for those quick link-ups!! :)
How fun.....a trip in the RV to Maine! I hope you have a ball. Little Cheri's heated bed sounds like a winner...I wouldn't mind having one of those! :)
Hope you have a great Pink Saturday....and a terrific weekend. It's been cold and rainy and downright nasty for a few days. I'm SICK of it!!!

I love that people still have quilting bees...and there are so many needy babes/children. It makes me smile to see your pictures. I have just discovered some good places to donate knitted things too! HPS Kathi

What a wonderful thing to do. Those children will be blanketed in love.
Such gorgeous and loving quilts. I love the one with butterflies! It's nice to think some child will cuddle in it, maybe tracing the pretty patterns with her finger, loving the colors.
Happy Pink Saturday!

I am in awe of all that talent and especially for such a beautiful cause! My co worker is a native of the country of Japan. She was so sad but she was fortunate because her family was not near the devastation.

Hi Jeanne! Oh, what a wonderful project. The quilts are so lovely and so needed. This just melts my heart!
Oh, I'd love to see your little Cheri' as I'm sure she looks beautiful. I had to take Chloe Dawn to the groomer today too. She was a mess.
Have a wonderful time on your trip and hope to see pictures along your way.

It is the goal of all parents so that your baby safe and comfortable. One of the most valuable tools that every parent, especially a new parent has a baby blanket. This tool can be used to keep warm, keep dry from the rain and play mat is a trust in an unknown place.

Woah. I am so glad I couldn't visit your blog while I was at oeifcfr development school. Between being stuck in PT gear the first week before we got uniforms and the galley serving the polar opposite of that breakfast, I'm not sure I'd have made it through. Hope you had a great trip!
