Please visit Sally at Smiling Sally for Blue Monday. If you are in love with the color blue, don't miss a visit to Sally's blog today.
Hi Sally, I pray that each day you are feeling better.
I FELT LIKE A PRINCESS
This is a photo of my motel room in Canada. Can you believe a motel would have a beautiful chenile bedspread on their beds? Neither do I. Claudie at, French Pink Poodles and Pearls put her own vintage bedspread on the bed before I arrived. And did you notice the adorable pillow. Another lovely gift from Claudie. A princess pillow if I ever saw one. That is what I call the hostess with the mostess.
There was so much more to enjoy in that motel room that I will share another day.
Think beautiful soaps, welcome banners, a well stocked mini refrigerator, and colored toilet paper. Not to mention lovely hand made flowers and a 'huge' chocolate bar by my bed. ( which I ate the first night)
Note to Claudie: No more chocolate...I can't resist it!!!!
A bouquet of fresh flowers from Claudie's yard put lovingly on the end table by my bed.
Thank you Claudie
I WAS a princess for one whole week.
Love,
JEANNE
That is a gorgeous spread. Looks like you had VIP treatment.

Claudie outdid herself in making you feel welcome. Love your blues!
Happy Blue Monday, Jeanne.

That Claudie is just a PEACH!! A blushing, pink one, but a peach, nevertheless. What an example of HOSTESSING! I just love making the extra little touches, and HAVE put a little thing or two in a hotel room, but spread and pillow and all the other exquiste touches---WOW.
If that's an example of the welcome Y'all had, it's a wonder you ever left.

She certainly is the hostess with the mostest! I love the chenille spread. They are hard to find now.
Happy Blue Monday!

That is a lovely chenille bedspread. I just bought one at an antiques market, but it has no blue in it ;)

And you were definitely worth every little magic touch Sista # 3. I had planned that little secret for awhile. I can't stand Motel spreads.
It looks pretty on your bed Jeanne.
Sorry about not calling you last night. Randy and I watch Apple TV. and we get to watch all these shows non stop with NO commercials. We are now stuck on DROP DEAD DIVA, so so funny.
It's sunny and blue sky today. Just got out of bed. Sleeping pretty good lately ; )
Happy BM

I don't like motel spreads either....Claudie thought of everything!
Hope you've had a great Monday. It's so pleasant here today....I'm still tired from the weekend (kinda crummy sale)...and had to catch up on stuff I'd let slide last week.
Now I have to haul sale stuff from the garage to the basement...it never ends with moving that stuff up and down the stairs and in and out of the car! :)
Happy Monday!
