Thank you so much Beverly for the Miracle Makeover Pink Saturday event.
Many of you know that we have been friends for over 40 years. This is who Beverly is. A kind, thoughtful, loving and caring person.
MY DEAREST FRIEND.
This next photo is a gift given to me by my dear Beverly with a note I cherish.
You might know it is a print of roses.
I love you my dearest friend.
Time is something I have "not had" for a large part of 2011.
I have missed my dear blogging friends.
This year this has been a YEAR where time stood still 'so to speak.' So far I have been gone or had company most of this year and I can finally see a 'time' when I can get back to my favorite pastime... visiting my dear blogging friends and some who are not blogging anymore.
SHARING A SPECIAL GIFT FROM CLAUDIE
I know alot has been mentioned about the many gifts we shared with the girls on our trip to Claudie's, French Pink Poodles and Pearls, home in Canada. I am sharing just one of the many lovely things I received on my canada trip. It is a very unique purse.
Can you guess what this is?
This is a purse with magnetic covers that enterchange at will. It is called a MICHE bag.
So What Is a Miche Bag? A woman wears many hats—daughter, sister, best friend, unstoppable career woman, mom... Your days are filled with responsibilities, good times, hard work and (hopefully!) a few precious moments just for yourself every now and again—experiences that all add up to a wonderful and fulfilling life! A Miche Bag is just like you—It can be sweet as honey, sassy as can be, or sleek and business-like. The choice is always yours. We understand that a woman's purse is her most important accessory, so we've made it a snap (really!) to change your bag's personality whenever you feel like it—in mere seconds. Always chic. Always convenient. Always affordable. Always there for you no matter what hat you're wearing today. It's your new favorite accessory. So you. So now. So Miche. Read more about Miche Bag »
This is how it works.
Thank you Claudie, I love this purse.
One more photo
My suitcases still not unpacked. Sigh!
The pink ribbons help me identify my luggage. No other color would be right. HA!
Did you notice my "J" luggage address tag? A perfct gift from Julie at, This is how I See the World. Julie is one of the Summer Breeze Girls who is Claudie's BFF. Her lovely gifts as well as the rest of the girls are almost ready to share with you. My smaller suitcase was packed full of the generous gifts we shared when we were together.
Happy Pink Saturday.
LOVE,
JEANNE
Beverly is a sweet friend indeed! And I love that bag! What a fabulous idea.
Hugs,
Penny

Those Miche bags are wonderful. Sharleen used to sell them in her shop, Luticia Clementine's.....I don't recall if she had them when you were here. What a sweet gift from Claudie!!
Hope your life calms down soon.....you need to unpack those bags! :)
Happy Pink Saturday!

Ah, you made me say "Ah". I was right then, and it is still true. You are the world's best, best friend. And, I will love you forever and ever.
Now, about this purse. I love it. I had heard of these, but I've never seen one up close and personal. You need to bring it with you the next time you are here. I promise not to snitch it.
Happy Pink Saturday. ♥♥♥♥♥ (That is one heart from each of us.)

If I had a bag like that, I would have had to show it off too. Your visit to Canada paid off in more ways than one. Glad you are back home and trust things settle down for you somewhat. Your friendship with Beverly is definitely worthy of sharing. I am honored to know both of you even if it is only thorough blog land.

Lucky you to have such a special lady as your friend! I've seen that purse on TV and think it's a great idea. It's so much easier to change the outside than pull EVERYTHING out and transfer it to another one. Happy Pink Saturday and have a wonderful weekend!

Video Demo 2010 a nine-minute-long clip of found footage from Dadabit, which appreas to be the collage archive of a visual artist from Georgia (the country). It was made in collaboration with Sunny Levine, who produced Ariel Pink's amazing new album (which not the music in this video, FYI). We suggest you recline back in your puffy chair with some yerba mate and lose yourself in the gauzy light of the images, cause this is a brain-sized goose-feather pillow of weirdness. (via Schmooze)

I'm so glad you can enjoy his sense of humor others would be hindig under the table or ducking in the car. Your husband and my father would be quite the pair. When we were in CA for a swim meet and we rented vans for the team members. My dad was one of the drivers. Being a bit of a tourist driver he'd make wrong turns, sit at a light too long because he was sure that was a celebrity walking down the street, etc. Pretty soon people were shouting ass%#&$ to him. It quickly became his nickname for that trip and not just because he was ticking off other drivers.

Ethan was named after the lead character in the clissac Searchers. John Wayne found the character so intriguing and captivating he named the new grandbaby Ethan. The character embodied traits appealing to Wayne: rugged individualism, relentless dynamism, perseverance against tremendous odds, passionate in his beliefs and predilections yet open to new ideas and revision. A man of few words yet instantly recognized as the leader. Those traits he hoped for his new grandson. It would be interesting to hear the family's account of the naming. The movie of Big Jake is one of the most touching of the John Wayne films. The music adds to the gentleness displayed by the burly, errant Grandfather who is on a mission to save Ethan, a grandson he has never seen, from cutthroat kidnappers after a huge ransome. Ethan could add to this biography by recounting words from his Grandfather. John Wayne was noted for giving opportunities to young talent. His pride in being involved in the accomplishments of the young can be seen in the Cowboys.
