Suzanne at, Coloradolady, is our host for today's fun event. Be sure and visit Suzanne's blog for lots more vintage fun.
It is a beautiful day in the mountains and it is great to say hello to my blogging friends. I have not been on my computer much lately because my cousin has been here for the past two weeks. Company again! No surprise huh? We have had a wonderful visit but our good times end as she leaves this morning for Michigan.
Now, it is back to blogging and visiting again. Yippee! I have missed you.
I have the sweetest little handmade treasure to share with you this morning. It was especially made for me by my dear blogging friend Deborah at, Bee Haven. More gifts from my visit to Canada. I know, it just doesn't end and you have not seen it all yet! The box is tiny and precious packed full of the cutest things. A lot of time went into this very special gift. Thank you so much Deborah.
THE BOX
I love birds and this treasure is birdalischious. She covered the box with paper and added layers of lovely little things. I adore this Deborah. There were six of us visiting Claudie at, French Pink Poodles and Pearls and she made a mini box for all of us.
AND...it is filled with tiny things she selected just for our individual personalities.
Green is my favorite color and she gave me a darling pair of vintage ear rings, the key to her heart, a tiny gift bag, and among these tiny gifts is some Smarties candy. Now I can finally eat it! HA! Yes, all of this tiny things fit inside the box. Plus a little saying glued in the bottom "You Make me smile." You can believe I was smiling BIG!
On display on my little table in my bedroom.
On the last day we were together before leaving for home, Deborah gave all of us one more special gift. She chose special gifts from her home and gave each of us a part of her own collection of treasures. My gift was a green vintage sugar bowl and sugar spoon.
I have used this already Deborah. Thank you sooooo much.
Happy Thingy Thursday
Love,
JEANNE

Good day, Jeanne...
What a delightful box filled with goodies, and the sugar bowl is very pretty. I love treasures, too. I miss joining in these wonderful blog parties, but I've been so busy lately. Hopefully, I'll be able to participate again soon.
Enjoy the day,
Marianne

I'm glad I got to see your treasures from Miss Bee Jeanne. I hadn't gotten a good look at it. SO SO thoughtful that sweet Bee is.
I have my little ballerina, my little pink bear, kitty and chick on top of my computer. I stare at them everyday.
I'm getting ready for Asheville finally. I found some boots yesterday. New, not used, short and sassy. I also found ANOTHER SWEET SHAWL. Vintage shoulder one. I think I might bring it for the Vendor's night in case I need a little something on my shoulders hehe. I bought you a cute baby blue shawl too. Nice and light with a little brown trim. You'll like it : )
It sure got cooler here over night. I think our high today is 60. I still have 2 more dogs to groom outside. WHAT A JOB!!!
Randy cooked some nice cornish game hens last night with some squash and curry rice. SO SO GOOD. What a man.
Julie quit her job, yes she did. She has another one lined up already, but she has to stick it out till Oct. 14th. It was time, over due. So a fresh start for her. She's happier.
Ok time to get cracking around here. I just baked some cinnamon buns (from the little dough boy of course, lol).
Company is gone and now you are heading to Fla. for the game. YAHOOOOOOO .
I'll see you soon sister # 3.

I visited here yesterday, Jeanne, and must have forgotten to leave a comment. I think my brain must be shriveling up! :(
I LOVED this sweet gift idea of Miss Bee's! A Smile Box. It is full of special touches customized just for you....and each of the other recipients!!
Hope you are enjoying some "down time"....but are you? :) I'm gearing up for our son and grands to be here overnight....then bright and early in the a.m. he and I will head down to the Bass Pro (my niece will be coming, too, and a friend from exercise class)..to participate in a 5K run! It's supposed to be COLD and RAINY. NOT looking forward to that part, but am looking forward to mixing with the youngsters and jogging for 3.1 miles around a pretty lake/park area.
Gotta start cleaning this mansion.
Have a great day!

Oh Miss Jeanne! I do hope you know that I was in Arizona - we returned this past Monday and I have been busy, busy - trying to catch up.
What a sweet post...I loved making these boxes for you all. I don't see some of the contents that were in the box. I hope they made it back from Plantegenet!
I'll be helping out with the grandkids while they're tracked out of year-round school and at the same time, getting ready to come see you!!! How exciting!
I blinged up my cowgirl hat and jean jacket and got my outfit ready for the first night...got some cowgirl boots too! What fun we'll have - I don't want to miss a moment of it...and I'm so honored to get to stay in your guest cabin!
I'll see you soon!
