A beautiful oil painting at a bargain price of $6.00, found at a Flea market sale. Do you remember the oil painting parties in peoples homes? I am sure this is a painting from one of those parties several years ago. I am not saying this is "fine art" but it suits me just fine. :)
I love these gorgeous flowers. It is large and lovely hangng in my great room.
I love this so much.
Keep on thrifting because there are great bargains out there just waiting for you to find.
Love,
JEANNE
I love it! Great colors and you can't beat the price-enjoy:@)

I know exactly where this beauty hangs Jeanne. I also have several oil paintings around the cottage. I paint the frames the colour I love and VOILA!!
BTW, we also had a PINK sunset the other night. That's why it was so warm yesterday. Today is a little chillier, but sunny.
It's Miss Bee's birthday on November 29th. I'm sending my card out today. It always takes soooo long from here to there. Just thought I would let you know.
BOWL AWAY MY FRIEND : )

That a beautiful painting for sure. And besides FINE art is only FINE, if it suits us ....right.
sheeesh, I've seen paintings out there worth 1000's of dollars that I wouldn't want to put in my house.
(does that mean I have no class....tee,hee, don't answer that)
Art has to move us in some way.
I love thrift shopping !!! Let's take another trip to Value Village eh.
LOVE YA

You know what they say about fine art? It's all a matter of taste, and with some folks their taste buds are just messed up when they spend boo-coos on Fine Art that a Chimp painted with a bananna peel! Me...I'm with YOU...6 bucks for pretty roses is Fine...Art and Fine with Me! Gosh...my Art History Prof would be washing my mouth out with turpintine about now. He was a big fan of Chimp Art!!!
