WELCOME TO "MY"
I am totally thinking pink today. Beverly, at How Sweet the Sound, is hosting Pink Saturday for the most fun Blog Party of the week This pink is powerful stuff. I for one, am loving it. It seems that the numbers are close to 200 Pinkies or more that participate each week, and they are loving it too. You go Beverly!
My cousin sent this to me via Email. I completely changed what I was going to post and decided to share this adorable story. If you have already seen this...Enjoy it again
The Dachshund & The Pink Pig
This Dachshund is fostering this little guy for another mom who couldn't take care of him.
He had his eyes closed, but now they are open.
He is just a little bigger than her other pups.
She loves this little guy as much as the other puppies and she is nursing him back to health.
He is the cleanest pig-puppy ever, because she licks him all the time!
HIS NAME IS PINK....
ISN'T THIS THE MOST PRECIOUS THING!!!?
'Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened.'
I am dedicating this post to two of my blogging friends. If you want to know why, take a minute and visit their Blogs. You will enjoy what you see.
First Blog is Lynn at, Happier than a Pig in Mud
Second Blog is Suzanne at, Coloradolady
Happy Pink Saturday
Love,
JEANNE
Jeanne - that is the sweetest picture of motherly love. It's amazing that the mom can do this. Never underestimate our "mothering" instincts. xoxo Nancy

How adorable! I've never seen anything so cute, and so PINK! And the long-suffering expression on Mom's face when poked in the face with a trotter. Happy Pink Saturday!

Happy Pink Saturday, Jeanne! Well, you just made my day with that little piggy! It is so cute, it almost doesn't look real. Anyway, I called my hubby in to have a peek at him and he too thinks it's adorable. So, thanks for a big smile today. And I've signed up to follow again. Enjoy your weekend.
Blessings and hugs,

Jeanne, that was the sweetest little post!! OMG....truly a wonderful example of the best in Mother Nature.
Yes, MIZZOU is officially out of the Big 12 and in the SEC. I still don't "get it"....the folks on TV say it's all about money, but they've totally screwed the fans. From what I know, no schools are close by for them to travel to and support the Tigers. Also, the Tigers are gonna get beat. . . more than ever.
I have been out "junking" for a few hours.....Christmas Open Houses at local ant. malls and went to a really scuzzy flea market (but I found a lot of stuff there!! :) I plan on reselling all of the treasures I nailed. Maybe I will show them on a post this week.....pretty much all old Santas...which I adore!
Happy Pink Sat......love, Dana

Oh Jeanne Sweetie...
Now isn't that just the cutest darn thing you have ever seen?
I have heard many times how other animals will take to another
and allow them to nurse with their babies, when their own Momma
rejects them. Pink sure looks cute popping out with those reddish
brown dachsands. So precious.
Thank you for sharing sweet friend. Thank you so much. It made me
and DH smile this evening. Lovin the pink. Country hugs and much love,
Sherry

This is too sweet, almost made me cry. I think doggies are what God intended people to be like. Maybe not furry, but unconditionally loving of all.

Not only do I want a baby lamb, now I want a PINK piggy. But they grow up to be BIG piggies don't they??
Soooooo nice talking to you this morning. I miss you HAPPY voice. My HAPPY voice is coming back, did you hear it???
Talked to CC after our conversation. She's such a doll. I'm so lucky to have all of you in my life that's for sure. She was waiting for Johnny to arrive with Peter's big dog. They are going to try and find him a good home. He's a Pitt Bull, kind one, very gentle.
Happy PS and happy shopping. Hope you had fun with your sis.

I have seen a lot of pink pigs, but never a puppy like this. Suzanne would take it in a heart beat. Wouldn't it would be great if humans loved like animals.

Jeanne! Oh my I cannot believe you live in Franklin NC! We went up through the Ga Mt and State Rd 441 into Franklin, NC. We have actually been throught that way several times as it is the "scenic route" into Western NC from Florida, in my humble opinion, hehe.
It won't be this year, but perhaps next year, if we are blessed to be able to go back to NC, we can plan to meet. Oh, I would have loved to meet you. Thank you so much for remembering me after my long vac and stopping to visit my blog.
I love your post today! That is precious. Almost had me teary eyed. I am on of those people who live with passion and not afraid to display the tears when life touches me deeply. Have a blessed week.
