Please visit Spiritual Sunday for inspiration and blessings. Thank you Charlotte and Marydon for hosting this special event each Sunday.
Fall is almost at the end for this season but this is an Email I want to share with you. 'What is it like to be a Christian?"...is a good question anytime and I loved the illustration in these words.
Since it's fall, I wanted to share this special message with all of my special "pumpkins"....
That would be my blogging friends.
Happy Fall
A woman was asked by a coworker,
'What is it like to be a Christian?
The coworker replied, 'It is like being a pumpkin.
God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes all the dirt off of you.
Then He cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff.
He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, and greed.
Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see."
This was passed on to me by another pumpkin’.
I liked this enough to send it to all the pumpkins in my patch.
"And all things whatsover ye shall ask in prayer, BELIEVING, ye shall receive."
Matthew 21:22
IN GOD WE TRUST
BLESSINGS,
JEANNE
So that's how you and CC became Pumpkins, I mean Christians. Now I get it, LOL.
LYTTMABA.
Hope you made it safely. I'm still up, can't sleep. Went over on our French ferry today to meet Isabelle. We did a little thrifting. Found some cute frilly tops to wear and P.J.
Had a lovely Thai dinner with her then came home. It was so dark already. Gee whiz.
Enjoy your week sweet friend.
I will translate Sisters letter to you hehe
